feeling crappy, down in the dumps, restless, miserable.

I so can't stand it right now, I'm feeling as though I'm going to puke any minute, and I already had to make the ultimate dash for the bathrooms like 4 times today for the same stupid reason. It's enough to make me miserable and restless.

Percussion outing is cancelled, because Joey can't make it. ='( so it's ice-skating with sab, tab and josh tml. I just hope I'm up for it, because I can't stand it if I have to feel nauseous continually and having to dash for the bathrooms. The last thing I need right now is to fall sick just before school reopens. And I was so looking forward to school reopening cos of orientation.

I somehow also feel the same old worries: Will I be able to fit in at JJC? Will I get used to life there quickly? blah blah blah..

Oh well, enough of grousing and grumbling. I think I'm pms-ing. something which never really happened to me.

This is actually unrelated to my entry, but I realised that when you play songs on piano and listen to the song itself on the radio or your mp3, the song sounds nicer than if you just play the piano only. Somehow the song sounds more coordinated, more even. And the tendency to rush as you play is not as high as when you're playing it only on the piano.

It's tried and tested, and somehow it kind of works. I tried 搁浅, 藉口, 退後, 白色风车 and 东风破 in this manner, and it works. It sounds better than the previous times I played it. Maybe next time I should try other songs, especially jay's songs, to see if this technique works out.

worry. stress. why?

Now I feel the worry. I went to JJC's official website and found out:
Cut-off in 2005:
Arts: 16
Sciences: 13
What I'm relying on for my L1R5:
English, Express Chinese, E Maths, A Maths, Chemistry, Geography.

My greatest worry is, will my english be better than my higher chinese? if my higher chinese is better, I don't think I can use express chinese. I might have to use combined humans, which I totally suck at, even though the paper was somehow more do-able than in prelims. Thanks be that I studied Conflict in Northern Ireland, and it came out in SEQ. If it didn't come out, I think I'd cry.

For the record, I got a freaking F9 for combined humanities. If I pass combined humanities, I give great thanks to God. And my physics is absolutely unreliable, no way I can use that. Unless I do well in it. Somehow the subject I worry for the most is A Maths. If I get at least B4, I'd be jumping for joy already.

I just want to remain in JJC. I want to save myself the transport troubles, and also JJC accepted me via appeal. Anyway JJC somehow seems better, in the way that it's not as stressful as NJC. sorry NJC-ians! but however, if I get 10 for o levels[yeah right], I might consider NJC. the CCAs there are good, especially NJC band! and the people there are quite warm, welcoming and friendly. Facilities are really good too. but if it's above 10, JJC will be my first choice already. =(

grabbed this from fiona's blog. hope you don't mind! the pic's really nice, even nicer than the other pics.

Jay looks really cool with the da dao. that was the weapon that killed hell lot of enemies during the battle. but if ever that gets waved in front of my face, I'd probably freak out.
Chow Yun-Fat looks like.. erm. I seriously don't know how to describe that expression on his face. and Gong Li is really beautiful! she doesn't even look like she's 40+. and she's a damn good actress. period.

I just realised that now I'm probably nuts to keep uploading photos of jay in my blog. but I can't help him, I just love him way too much!! and yeah, despite what my parents saying about jay not being very good-looking, well, I BEG TO DIFFER.
he's quite good-looking actually. I think he's the only guy who can make small eyes look good. =) and he's really musically-talented, being able to play 5, yes 5 instruments--piano, cello, guitar, chinese flute and jazz drum.

WOW. isn't it cool? alot of singers don't have that much talent. and in 菊花台 MV, he could play the guzheng after learning it for ONLY 20 minutes, as he's never learnt the guzheng when he was young. and being able to play the guzheng within 20 minutes means one thing.

He is super talented. period.

nvm that I couldn't get in to jj, I'm content with MI for first 3 months, at least when the results are out, it's still possible to go to jj. =D

Somehow I think I'd be getting alot of my stuff AFTER christmas. how ironic. =x

most people wouldn't know this. Qin Junjie, the youngest prince is only 15 years old. omg and he's easily the youngest of them all. that sure is incredible.

This picture further proves why USA rated Curse Of The Golden Flower violence. and that's really alot of bloodshed. prince jie--the only warrior left standing after the tremendous battle that caused so much bloodshed and deaths.

in the movie, he seemed like a pheonix in a way. after virtually all soldiers in golden armour were killed, the first thought was that you'd think prince jie was killed in the showdown. but NO. he kinda rose up from the golden sea of armour, grievously injured and his headgear off from his head. and he continued to fight the enemy despite being severely outnumbered. in the end.. I'll let the suspense remain. those who haven't watched the movie should go and watch it, it's really cool and definitely worth your money as I said. =D

and one thing about the armour. it doesn't seem to be effective in a way. the flying curved daggers could hit them squarely in them and kill them. the armour didn't seem to help at all. and no shields too, unlike the enemy.

CURSE OF THE GOLDEN FLOWER
omg. I watched it already! and it's damn cool! the battle and the fight scenes were especially exciting. but alot of bloodshed. far more than what I expected. and all 3 princes ____.
to those who haven't watched the movie yet, go watch it! it's definitely worth your money and it's really thrilling!
I met joey at jp earlier, and she was there for the same reason. =D well, that's one big jay fan! like me =)

The movie is damn nice. AWESOME indeed! The near exact replica of forbidden city is beautiful too. The costumes are beautiful, and the female cast members' costumes are SUPER REVEALING. The weapons and their magnitude is ABSOLUTELY breath-taking. The battle was exciting and very tense indeed, with a TREMENDOUS amount of bloodshed and deaths.

Unspeakble Secrets Are Hidden Within The Forbidden City. Isn't it cool? It kind of leads to a climax, that makes you want to find out what is the dark and appalling truth behind it.

it's only 2 days since I last blogged but it seems like light years. =x don't ask me why, it's just that weird feeling.
finally after what seems like a long time, I finally got hold of initial d! yeah I know it's kind of outdated but it's something I just can't resist. =D and anyway it's really thrilling, the drifting's the kind that sets your adrenalin pumping, your pulse to race even faster and gets you sitting at the edge of your seat. now, this kind of show, I like. =D
so now it's already 1.45AM, and I'm still here sitting in front of the com. changed my template like, 3 times within the space of a week?! omg. 1st time the pic was so small and I couldn't pinpoint where the problem was cos it wasn't like that when I viewed it in blogskins. 2nd time was cos the photos that I uploaded in my blog got cut off. 3rd time: it's troublesome for ppl to see my entries if they have to keep scrolling!!
dammit so had to change again. and for good measure, this template's gonna remain for ages, until I make up my mind to change it. all the templates I had so far were all jay. =)
so now this one is nice. =D

PAE RESULTS.

MI Science.
drat, I had to put that because I couldn't put down JJC, wth! but I tried appealing in via CCA, which means that if the appeal is successful, my name wouldn't be listed down as a student of JJC. dammit. sometimes I wonder if I should have gone for the appeal, because it kind of puts me at a disadvantage.
But even if I don't get into JJC for 1st 3 months, at least I managed to get into sciences, so it's small consolation.
Hell. now I wish I hadn't appealed for JJC. I might as well go through 3 months in MI, and after all it's not as bad as I think. anyway, after the results are out, I still can always choose to go into another jc. I can always choose not to go to MI after my results are out, unless I don't do well in the o levels.
at least o levels were much more manageable than prelims, so it's something of a relief. but then again, does it determine how well you will do? will you do well enough to get into NJC? will you do well enough to go into JJC? that's where the big difference lies.
somehow, I wish that the appeal wouldn't come through. when I wrote out the reasons for appealing to jjc on the form, my reasons were crap. so somehow now I just got that strange burning desire for that call never to come, to let me realise that the appeal wasn't successful, so that I could continue in MI. anyway syahidah's in MI too, so at least I have a companion. on that count it's not so bad.

Finally I got hold of Curse Of The Golden Flower EP! I was like eyeing it ever since it got released. haha. I'm so nuts over jay.
guess what, I'm listening to huang jin jia on FM88.3 countdown. New song in the chart and it opens up with a no. 4 placing!! it's like so cool lah. =D
the video itself is really cool too. purple and black sure goes well together. Curse Of The Golden Flower released on 21st december. only 1 week and 2 days away, it's fast! =) can't wait for it to be released. the trailers and the behind the scenes are exciting too, makes everyone all excited. =D

these are the CDs and the only EP I have so far. including the Curse Of The Golden Flower EP, that makes 5 CDs.
I want the whole collection if it's possible.

yes! finally I found curse of the golden flower EP!! after searching around the CD shops for a few days I found it at JE Popular CD-Rama. $22.95.

the books are easy to get, just go library and borrow! simple as that.

the CDs, wait for weekly poacket money. =)
I'd rather get the Incomparable to Jay VCD than the CD cos it's more exciting to see jay in action. his songs no doubt are nice, but it's even better to see him in action right?

Funny. The newspapers announced that curse of the golden flower EP is already out in the shops. So how come I can't find it in the CD shops?!
I walked to whatever CD shop I could go to in orchard yesterday, nothing. I just can't figure it out. drat. I so wanted that CD. now I have to work to get hold of $20 every week during the hols. by teaching my brother his homework and tolerating his nonsense at home, not getting into fights with him.. seems quite easy right?
NOT QUITE! he irritates me frequently at home. it'll take alot of patience to tolerate his nonsense at home cos he bugs me CONSTANTLY for the computer and TV. double iritation.
with the money I collect over the last few weeks, I can easily buy Initial D VCD, incomparable to Jay VCD, the CD version..

saturday spent at orchard.

Well, I couldn't stand it being at home all the time staring at the computer and the TV, so I took off for a day at orchard with my mum. It's like walking around.. hungry, tired. waited for tab to meet us there. At centrepoint I couldn't stand just walking around looking at clothes, so I decided to go to times instead. saw dreamhome the CD shop, instantly went in cos I was trying to find curse of the golden flower EP. drat. couldn't find it at all. but I found Incomparable to Jay 2004 VCD. great, I'm so gonna get it. $20.95, and there were 3 VCDs inside. quite a reasonable price. =)
I went to paragon metro to just walk around and see the accessories. suddenly got a guy's voice came from behind me..
guy: miss, may I help you?
me: *turn around* erm.. aidil! ( I was about to say 'no thanks'!! )
yeah, it was aidil who did that. haha. I didn't even see him at all la. -_-
aidil: eh I called you then you never reply.. you talking on your phone..
me: you gave me a shock! didn't know you were here, haha.. you're here for what?
aidil: CIP.. raising funds for the kids in cambodia.
ok lah, doing CIP to raise funds for the needy kids in cambodia was kinda fun. he then just started telling me about the donation thing.. all that stuff.. so I just took a marker and the felt pattern and wrote a message for them, before hanging it on the christmas tree next to his booth. My handwriting looks like crap. dammit lah, I think I too long never do proper writing liao ever since the big 'o's were over. No wonder my handwriting looks like shit. Poor him, his shift was supposed to end at 3, then when I saw him it was already 3+. He said he was staying for awhile cos the guy who was supposed to take over his shift had not come. Then just chatted with him for awhile before dashing off to CK Tang to meet tab. =p
Today we just roamed orchard. nothing much to do. meant to snap some pictures of the christmas deco but in the end didn't do so. =x never mind, I'm hitting orchard again soon, so there'll be many more chances to take more pictures. =)

curse of the golden flower EP out today!!! and I've seen part of his new MV for the EP. purple colour suits him well. =) ah I can't wait to lay my hands on his EP! =D

oops, i did NOT just say I would miss the cockroaches. I freak out at the sight of a cockroach. I would really miss the band room cos that's where we had the best times, having intensive practices for important performances like the esplanade performance and MUSE Festival, laughing together as a band and as a section..
