stress week.
omg. o level results are coming out soon. it's like so fast lah. some people said it's on 5th feb, some say it's the 9th. never mind. I'd check the newspapers instead.
I don't think it's possible for me to get a single digit lah.. unless a miracle happens. as long as I get below 15, I'm more than happy. if I do well enough, I might go to NJC or ACJC.. if not, the very likely option would still be JJC.
JJC so rocks lah, everyone in class is super united and we have great times together, whether it's slacking, crapping, skipping lessons[which s27 does quite frquently =\].. you name it, all the fun is there.
zhenyu's designed something for class tee, it's really nice. yet to upload the pictures yet, will upload them at a later time.
love fiesta on saturday! might have to stay in school on friday to do the last minute preparations, my parents aren't pleased. but if I don't stay, then on the day itself I'd have to reach school super early, probably at 6.30 am!! while if I stay, at least I can catch up abit on sleep..
painted the pink banner today with zhenyu, xinfang, zaid, zul and soe moe. was great fun, and zhenyu's art is like damn pro lah. =D
it's gonna be tiring for me this week, meetings nearly everyday since love fiesta's this saturday..

crazy week lah. so many scdc meetings after school nearly everyday, reaching home at nearly 8pm most times these days, decorating the banners for love fiesta, revision, homework! 2 tests next week, but I'm only doing one. =)
went to sharon's house in the morning to get some stuff, then went around jurong west extension on saturday with sharon and jia han to sell more love fiesta tickets, but sadly, we only sold 1. damn. we ended up slacking, and becoming mosquito targets as we were resting at the void decks.
and I went to orchard with family today to claim some lucky draw prize that I won. =)
anyway it was nothing much, but I missed the chance to meet fahrenheit in person! =( because after dropping my mum and brother off at imm, I saw a whole crowd of people outside imm, all waiting to go in.. and inside.. was probably packed to exploding point.
now I'm restless, cos I just finished a crap chinese essay which was meant to occupy our time, as in for those who took higher chinese in secondary school. I'd rather we be allowed to do our own things during chinese lesson instead of doing essays all the time, it's boring and somehow I kind of lack inspiration. this is what happened on one of the chinese lessons when miss goh returned our essays to us.
miss goh: you wrote that your chinese isn't that good.. but your chinese command is very good!
me: it's still ok lah. I don't think I'm that good 0_o
seriously this seems very weird to me. and next week we can't skip lectures anymore, they're going to take attendance! =(
and I haven't seemed to grow taller since sec 4, I seem to remain at a permanent 160 cm which doesn't seem possible to me at all lah. when I measured my height in december I was around 164cm. surely I can't have become shorter?

wahahaa..
skipped econs and maths lecture today because I was tired and was already falling asleep during gp.. so we went up to the cafe to eat, crap, listen music, sing loudly and take photos. =)

I had to leave at 12 to go jp to sell love fiesta tickets, miss ng didn't seem to believe me.. she said: " I'll check with Miss Tiong." in that rather disbelieving tone.
seriously, I was damn annoyed lah, did she have to adpot this kind of attitude? she already told off s27 cos some ppl skipped the chem lecture on tues. and then.
as I'm chem rep, I'm supposed to collect chem tutorial 1. but she didn't tell me that the discussion questions didn't have to be handed in. so the result is that I had to pass back everyone's papers to let them detach their discussion questions answers, then pass back to me.
from low irritation level, my irritation level rocketed up sky high. so even though I wasn't aware of it myself at that time, I just spoke to her coldly when she asked me if any teacher was coming up to the classroom to find me to go sell the tickets. so, I told her for the 2nd time that I was supposed to go down to the love fiesta room. omg. damn eff-ing irritating lah. somehow I think I could hear the ice and the cold sarcasm in my voice, and that I pulled the door open with alot more force than I usually do to open most doors.
at jp, no luck with tickets, only managed to sellsome of the teddy bears and love fiesta shirts. another round of selling tml, supposed to report at 7.30, but I'm still up here blogging, so I guess I have to sleep soon or I won't be able to get up tml.
nice? =)
JJ teddy bears. I love them, they're really cute, but the problem is that it's too expensive.

YOUTH ROCKS @ VIVO
YOUTH ROCKS @ VIVO was really fun, especially the mass dances!! I think we really went crazy when it came to She Bangs, we just danced like nobody's business.. it was damn fun! but the only bad thing about the event was that it was very warm and humid, and even though it rained, it was still very humid.. so some of us would run inside the shopping centre to get some air-con.
and yeah, some of us even stood on the chairs provided and just started jumping, clapping and moving in time to the rock bands' music. damn noisy lah, but was really fun. we got hold of the glowsticks and started connecting them into necklaces, bangles, put them into our shoes and even made them into flowers to stick in the hair!
me, sharon and yee min wanted to buy coloured shoelaces of the same colours to wear to school, since school allows us to wear coloured shoelaces.. =)

sad friday
I feel so damn guilty, I skipped maths lecture, tutorial and PC. and zhenyu made himself do pumping for this. it wasn't his fault lah, it was ours! damn, I think this means alot of trouble on monday. double damn.
me, sharon, jj, jingwen, gwen, singkiat, chuan boon, andrian and yongcheng all skipped maths and oc, zhenyu skipped maths also. =\
stayed back with zhenyu and eileen to finish up the proposals until 5+, could tell he was damn miserable and pissed, but it was best to keep your mouth shut in this case.
and jj is either really unaware of it, or he's just abit insensitive. somehow.
jj: just now zhenyu like breathing fire like that..
me: of course he'd be damn mad lah. you know that he go and do self punishment because of us ponning PC?
jj: what punishment?
me. pumping lah.
jj: how many?
me: 75, 5 for each person who didn't turn up.
jj: ah it's nothing lah, I did 50 push ups at 1 time, and did the same thing about 6 times..
seriously, does that come under being unaware or being abit insensitive?!
and anyway, I seriously felt upset when I saw zhenyu do pumping. and somehow I realised that it was partly my fault.
tml YOUTH ROCKS @ VIVO. meeting up with sharon, yee min, ee chow and some others at 10 at school for breakfast and run through for mass dance. let's hope I don't mess up. I really think I have 2 left feet sometimes.
convos today in school was damn funny lah. jia han's the only other person I know who's also noticed that jj looks really like kenji 吴克群! wahaha.
I declare that Dai Jia Jun is also known as kenji 吴克群! wahahaha. just kidding!
even zhang jing called him kenji in school today, damn funny.
jing intro-ed me to 3 other j1 guys also, and they thought that minli, me and jj were j2s cos we were wearing jj based attire. 0_o I only remembered 1 guy's name, jia rong, and I don't even know what class he's in. while the others were talking, I privately told jia rong that jj's aka 吴克群. wahahaha. he's number 2 person to notice that.
and seriously, jj really, REALLY looks like 吴克群! the resemblance is really uncanny too, that was the first thing that came to my mind when I first met jj on first day of school.
me: has anyone told you that you really look like 吴克群?
jj: erm.. yeah, a few times. mainly the girls though.
me: 0_o
he's like damn popular in school lah, he knows alot of people, especially the girls. and also partly because there're alot of nan hua ppl in JJC too.
and the irony of it, I also like his songs, they're really nice, especially 明天过后, 将军令, 纸片人, 残废 and 家的名字. all from the 将军令 album, the songs are really nice too. =)

2 more days to YOUTH ROCKS @ VIVO.
today was kinda fun, majority of s27 went out of school to the market to check out the prices of the utensils, balloons and whatever stff that we would probably need for love fiesta.. then after that crashed zhenyu's father's stationery shop to check out the prices of all the possible things that we might need, before rushing back to school for another leaders' meeting, and another round of mass dance.
I like Pump It, it's seriously much, MUCH easier than She Bangs and the easiest song to dance to is Superstar. Hey Ya was great to dance too.. and finally I got hold of a decent dance partner, ee chow. seriously, he's better than all the other guys I got stuck with during the times we did the mass dance, other than jiajun. at least he can dance.

wednesday-day of exhaustion.
more Love Fiesta tickets?! omg. selling them off isn't that easy.. now I have 8 more tickets.
civics lesson was funny, we discussed about what we wanted to do for Love Fiesta, couldn't decide on a games or food stall idea. and we have to submit 3 proposals by friday.
chinese also. we did 1 compo, chinese and me. seriously, I had no inspiration at all lah. cos when this kind of topic comes in, it's really hard to think of something interesting to write, anyway since it wasn't specified how exactly we were supposed to do it, I just wrote a whole lot of crap on how I faced chinese and what were the results of it from kindergarten to secondary school. at least I can give it up in JC since I have higher chinese. =) alot of people wrote only 1 page and a few lines over the next page..
I wrote more than 1 and a half pages for the essay, and it was like. wow?
what miss goh said to me upon seeing my work.. in chinese of course!
miss goh: you wrote so much, I think it will be a good essay.. some more your handwriting is very nice!
me: I don't think it'll be that good.. [seriously, that's how I felt!]
miss goh: your handwriting is so nice, it's a pity you didn't learn chinese calligraphy..
me: it's still ok lah..
then she compared mine and jiajun's handwriting..
miss goh: whoa he's a guy yet his handwriting is much smaller than yours.. it was small enough in front but when it was at the end,it was even smaller!

seriously, most people would think that guys have bigger handwriting than girls. but jj's is just the opposite.. =\ and anyway, I beg to differ on the fact that my chinese is good. jj's is obviously better, he's from nan hua leh!! and funnily enough miss goh somehow didn't believe that he got A1 for express chinese last year.. it seriously set the whole class off lah, it was damn funny!
today was damn busy lah, had student leaders meeting then the scdc planning com met up at the verbal nuggets station to tend to the song requests, and to sell the jj teddy bears, hearts and all.. and band after that. jingni came for practice too, had a good time kinda reminiscing about past band memories with jiahua and fiona..
met christoph for the first time in jjc too, even though I'd met him before at jason's place.. but that was only cos I'd forgotten how he looked like after that brief encounter.. seriously, he's a nice guy to talk to.. =)
alot of reading up to do, with making notes in the articles for GP, for discussion tml. and another meeting. I'm kinda tired. and saturday have og outing and YOUTH ROCKS @ VIVO. gonna be a long and very busy week for many of the ppl in og30 since out of 25 of us, 20 applied for student leaders..

today was student leader interview. What could I say, it was abit.. silly?
Senior(I know his name, but I don't know how to spell =\): We will call your names at random, if you know the people in your group, good for you. If not, try and know them before the interview starts..

whoa best. random calling indeed. Know them all, that's the best indeed. me, meng han, yee min and tzelin from the same og, sing kiat in s27 with me.
somehow I was surprised at how soon I was called out, cos I had expected to be near the end of the big group of people who turned up for the interview.
so the interview was.. abit silly. cos somehow it was like we were rattling off about why we wanted to be student leaders, and the 2 student councillors weren't talking much lah.
by 10pm, if there's no call, it means we're accepted. So far no call for me and it's already 10 plus. so I guess that means yes. =p
watched yee min play table tennis, grumbled about how he smelled cos he had a really intensive game of table tennis. anyway he went to shower after that, so whew. =\

Orientation was great, GREAT FUN! OG30 so rocks lah, with 18 guys and 6 girls.
ratio is 3:1. INCREDIBLE!!
so I'm not going with sharon and 07s27 to vivo to promote love fiesta.. but in the end I might be going to vivo later to somehow join in the fun. Anyway there's next saturday! mass dance. Whether I make it as student leader, who cares?! We might as well just go crazy and have fun!
Anyway majority of the people in OG30 signed up for student leader, except jj.
I suck at dancing. I just couldn't get my movements right during mass dance at orientation. big, BIG drag. what from turning the wrong direction, making the wrong step.. the list of errors is
ENDLESS. period.
But I don't think they'd really take much notice of this.
JJC is like so.. wow. The teachers said that if we do well for all our subjects during the whole school year, it means..
We are exempted from end-of-year promos!!!That's like so cool lah. but also, if you do well in certain subjects, you don't have to go for that particular exam during your promos.
It's time to mug it out! I don't want to have exams, they SUCK.
I think I seriously need help for maths and econs. I simply just couldn't understand much about the partial fractions thing, it was so confusing. Econs is more manageable, just have to do a lot of reading up, like GP.
GP yesterday was.. wahahahaha! from all the political issue pictures that were shown.. the pictures somehow led to.. one of RAIN!!!!
omg, everyone would know this lah. about his $888 tickets. killer expensive, I'll bet even Jay Chou's concert tickets aren't that expensive too lah.

Zinedine Zidane head-butting Marco Materrazzi during the 2006 World Cup Final!Best!! If GP were always like this, I'd fall in love with it.
Just want to do well, get a bit more social.. Somehow settling down in JJC was much easier for me, compared to settling down in CSS. maybe it's the people there, and my OG mates so rock! =D

I love JC life!
life in JJC's damn exciting lah! so far I only skipped 1 chinese lecture, cos it was super boring and all the people seem to sleep during chinese lecture.
I didn't know there were so many ppl from css who came in to JJC.. kang shang, terence chew, teng chin, miaosi, yanshan, meiqi, heiwai, jiaxin.. it's really a long list.
kang sheng's nice to talk to, teng chin's lame and super funny, blah blah blah. =) and we have free periods where we can just slack. wahaha. abit culture shock though, cos in css..

they don't exactly bother much about the handphone thing, we can even wear coloured socks.
on wed I thought we were going to change classes. but.. it wasn't! only some ppl did, me, sharon, zhanyu and jj weren't affected by it, thanks goodness. =)

fun day at jjc!
I'm in 07s27! I know virtually no one in that class, but at least got 4 ppl from og30 same class as me. sharon, me, zhenyu and jiajun. 2 pairs of og buddies. damn shuang lah. =)
even though I got my second choice combi, but I'm not complaining. H2 maths, chem, econs and H1 physics.
went back to CSS to sell JJ love fiesta tix, it was disastrous. so many ppl don't want to buy, said that they bought already. dammit. even the teachers, what's worse.
so in the end I managed to sell only 4, what the crap. 1 for myself, 3 for 3 css teachers. and I'm so not used to the new school compound, I think the old campus is much, much better. canteen food sucks too. damn.
after selling 4 tix, went back to jjc, listened to teng chin talk hell lot of crap, watching him being lame with his friends, met sharon, went back up to hall to pass the $40 collected to weilun, listened to the teachers talk a whole lot of crap..
yeah, typical school day. but tml lessons starting liao.
after we were let off, we hung out, gossiped, me, sharon and yee min went up to hall to watch badminton training and see jiajun play. he's damn good lah, he was badminton captain in nan hua last time. so me and yee min started talking about the most random things, blah blah blah. sharon went off first, but when me and yee min came down at 6, we saw her with jing, jinguo and meng han, talking. =\ started crapping abt who's the good-looking guys in og30. omg. but well it's actually kind true that og30 has alot of good looking guys. haha.
I realised that $30 disappeared quite fast for me today.
-$10 for 1 jj love fiesta ticket

-$1.70 for a terrible lunch at css

JJ orientation!!
I'm back! JJ orientation just so rocks lah!
OG30 is the sports attachment group and we so rock lah. majority of the games we played against the other groups, we won! pictures will come later, I'm blogging from my cousin's house and now I don't have my USB cable with me to upload the pictures.
1st day: 7am is way too early a time to report, period. had fun with og30, all the sports attachment ppl were in the same og. =) learnt alot of cheers, some were quite lame, but funny. mass dancing was fun, had great fun doing the dance, but alot of bad coordination. =\ I shouldn't have worn PE shirt for the camp, I realised after that I didn't have enough shirts, dammit!
water games was damn fun, all of us got drenched and now all our wet clothes STINK. and all of us had a suntan/sunburn.
og30 so rocks, everybody is great and super united, and we go crazy literally every free moment. 6 girls, 18 guys. it's true.
night games was crazy, we had to run up and down non-stop, got super sweaty and exhausted, and we got 3rd. og27 was the champion. wonderful. the first game that og30 lost.
2nd day: telematch was damn fun! all of us got super wet in the first 2 rounds, and EXTREMELY dirty in the last round when we had to slide down into a puddle with flour and water to get under the canteen bench. weilun knocked his head, cos he's too tall. wahahahaa. we were all wet, dirty and we stank. so me and sharon went to the toilets to rinse ourselves off to get rid of the gross flour, sat outside on the running track with jj, zhenyu, jinguo they all to get dry and a suntan at the same time. =x
kinetic warfare was even worse, this time round it was not only with flour and water, but with soap as well. we might as well not have rinsed off the flour on our bodies in the first place if we were going to get bombed by it again lah. all the guys took off their shirts in the 'swimming pool' to get wetter and to fill up a .5 litre water bottle of water. WITHOUT just immersing the bottle into the pool itself. the trick was to get all their clothes wet, then we girls would squeeze out the water into the water bottle. since og30 has so many guys, we won! but all the cut fruits in the water and all was a turn-off lah. so gross. og1 beat us in the golf balls game, the only other game we lost. but anyway I got back at ivan with a big water bomb, and ended up nearly slipping in the process of escaping.
JJ nite was ok lah, except for the fact that the air-cons seemed to backfire and that it was very warm inside. alot of seniors came back..
but night time was the worst. for some unknown reason I woke up at 4.20am, with my mp3 earpieces still stuck in my ears and couldn't get back to sleep at all.
3rd day. I just remember saying 'good morning' to zhenyu, my mind was half dead from the lack of sleep. I think jj was with him too only I didn't really register his presence.. maybe it was cos he was wearing specs which he usually doesn't since I think he wears contacts, or maybe it's because my mind was less than totally awake and alert. anyway it would have been very weird if I asked 'who are you?', cos I was wearing my specs already. and ppl would think i'm nuts.
got hold of most of the og's contact info today, area cleaning was sucky. had to shift up alot of tables and chairs.
I like the e-web, it was emotional and it was truly meaningful. =) poor dini nearly got strangled in the process.
broke camp at last, but some of og30 still stayed behind to play basketball.
me, sharon, zhenyu, jj, weilun, menghan, jinguo, zach, ee chow, joel, yee min, kokyao and gavin all went to the kopitiam opp jj for lunch, then back to the sch to play bball. when me, sharon and jj got tired, we played netball.
so now I have a terrific sunburn and my skin's starting to peel. wonderful.
Anyway the camp was worth it, it was really great fun! thanks to all the J2s who helped organise this camp and make it a successful one!

first day!
First day at JJC was great fun! The theme was kinda weird but innovative. CHEMISTRY, with all the ogs having elements from the periodic table as their names. og 30 is polonium, hahaha.
Morning- Listening to a lot of talks on the subjects and about the subject combination. VERY boring! so me, sharon, zhenyu and shalihin ended up gossiping in whispers and having alot of fun. my og(og30) is made up of mainly the ppl who came into jj via CCA attachment, but was alot of fun. so far the ppl i'm close to are sharon, zhenyu and shalihin. and learnt alot of cheers along the way, some of them quite lame in my opinion. zhenyu's hell of a good artist, he could draw mini versions of us in caricature form, and also of our ogl, zhang jing. it was quite nice. Terence Chew's one of the OGLs at jj, but he was not in my group, I think he was in family 5 if I'm not wrong.
afternoon- lunch, after a CENTURY. the 4 of us sat together, zhang jing joined us.. then yiyan came up to us, and I recognised her, she was in 4/2 from choir last year if I'm not wrong. She knows chee wai and zhen xiang although zx wasn't in 4/6. zhang jing doubts yiyan would forget my name, cos I was an ex-css-ian. and she's right. haha.
1 thing, never try to remember ppl's names if you meet them for the first time during an orientation, because you'd forget the names almost instantly.
learnt mass dance, alot of rather stupid cheers, the school song, blah blah blah.
during mass dance was fun. alot of the girls took guys as partners for the dance, it was funny. I got this nan hua guy, jiajun. I guess he's quite good-looking in a way, cos he reminds me abit of wu kequn, and abit like tian ji also in terms of looks. Seriously! but his dancing. erm.

oh well. so it ended at 6pm that day. omg I was so tired. Tml's JJ orientation camp! so I'm gonna be away for 3 days 2 nights.

memories!
I found this in youjing's photo album, it brings back a lot of CMB memories. If my memory serves me right, I think this was taken on the day CMB had the photo shoot for the MUSE Festival booklet, and since the shoot was like around 5+ in the afternoon, alot of us went crazy and started playing and fooling around, instead of practising. This was one of those times. I miss the good old times!!!

school reopening
This time, school reopening doesn't mean entering the CSS new campus. Instead, it's going into JJC and getting to know more new friends, face more challenges..
What if I can't adapt? What if I end up looking like I'm anti-social again? So many 'what if' doesn't really help, but somehow the worry just remains. It's bad enough that you're miserable because of not being able to cope, not being able to handle all the stress and so on.
I want holidays to be longer. period.

It was a fun day. Went pooling with tab today at bukit timah. Omg my pooling skills suck. The last time I went near a billiards table was when I was.. 10 years old? I went to my mum's friend's condo to play pool, in case you're wondering how come I could play when I was so clearly underaged. No wonder my skills suck big time.
In fact, this last weekend for the hols was the most fun! me, sab, tab and josh went ice-skating, and I fell down and landed flat on my butt so many times. But it's not so bad, considering it's my first time ice-skating. Sabbypoo is worse than me, she skated a few times before and yet she fell more often than I did. =\ The big result: the knees and the bottoms of our jeans were totally drenched.
I miss the holidays. I want hols to be longer!!!! I just hope I'm in the same og as pearl, if not, I'll really cry. Now I feel so restless, agitated, worried and impatient. A new year, new challenges ahead and more worries in a way. SYF this year, how fast. JC promos, more worries, not as much time to slack as in sec sch, more time mugging and studying..

Death Note 2 is cool. Period.
I regret not watching Death Note 1, because at the time it was released, it was really near o levels and there wasn't much time to enjoy watching a movie.
At least the good movies came during the December holidays right after the big 'o's. Curse Of The Golden Flower, Charlotte's Web, Night At The Museum, Death Note 2..
Watching 2 movies in a month didn't really matter to me as I had 4 movie vouchers. 1 was used for Curse Of The Golden Flower, and the other 3 was used for watching Death Note 2 yesterday night with my cousins. Well worth it all right. At least they were good movies.
After Death Note 2, we went to long john silver(short john gold) to eat, then walk around for abit. Sabbie went for the countdown, me and tab alighted at je station and left sabbie on board cos she was going all the way to raffles place. from je station, we WALKED all the way to the macdonald's near CSS old campus. damn ulu. as by the time we reached there, it was 11.10pm.
nothing much here. now less than 48 hours to school reopening. how fast.
