upcoming common test!
ok, common test is coming. can see people staying back after school to mug. yes, both j1s and j2s.
stayed back after school to mug today, alone. cos the rest of the girls went back early. =( oh well. nvm. shall try and survive through this.
and it's a consolation that my birthday's after common test. but first I must at least do decently. there are so many things that I want to do after common test, and also to celebrate my birthday..

-watch jay chou's latest movie, secret.
-get hp7!!
-get a crumpler bag if possible
-get a new hooded dark-cloured jacket
-my last wish.. is a secret. a very special secret. =D
lately my irritation has been mounting at a particular someone. it's more like i'm irritated at the result that occurred as a result of that rumour. for something I didn't do, I get treated strangely. it's so damn frustrating. when I first heard it, I was shocked, then I freaked out totally. I had to resist the urge of blurting out my innermost feelings about it, but I kept myself in check. if I had opened my mouth, I'd bet more rumours would start to flow. how irritating these people can be.
does it really matter that just because you talk to someone of the opposite gender more often than the others, it means something's going on?! I seriously hate it when people have these opinion. who people want to talk to is their own business, and not necessarily for others to care! I don't understand how some people can be so bo liao to say such things. it's really enough to make a person lose his/her patience.
ok. enough of my screaming. venting it out does help in a way.
my feelings are kind of muddled now, made worse by my fear, uncertainty and stress.
I found these 2 council invest photos in friendster. =D nice ones. and they bring back memories of shadows and 02 days. =D

band.
yesterday's rehearsal for student leaders' invest was.. =(
they don't seem so enthu about it, and the way their hands snapped up during the rehearsal for the leaders' pledge was crap. ok, can't blame them, cos it was their first time doing it. but then again, why don't I feel the enthusiasm factor?!
so the band was playing at the grandstand as well, alot of the cues had to be given by jiamin, and I have to follow her cue on the bass drum.
the worst thing is that I kept screwing up. =( for like dunno how many times. super frustrating.
and playing that solo for the march in, which cass showed me earlier repeatedly is boring also. and I couldn't think of any other variations. the worse of it is that when I whacked the bass drum with my leg(ok, for those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's the drum set bass drum), the sound was damn inconsistent and sucky. my leg's too weak already. =(
until christofle came over during a lull for the band and showed me a cooler version of it. =DD need to practise it. or else I'd forget and I'm going to be so screwed.
after the whole thing ended and we finished packing up, I stayed back to clear the percussion area, cos christofle said it's super messy. which is true. some SL I am. need to get more responsible. so when I finished, it looked fairly decent a section area. at least it's not so messy.
he showed me and jiamin another kind of solo on the drumset again after that. and he said he'd teach me!! =DDD after common test. =D
and common test is next monday already! need to pass decently..

crapo.
mad rush against time again. it seems like I'm on a time bomb, rushing to complete everything for the week before I can catch a slight breather.
blogging from school now, might blog again tonight if I have the time.
URA trip was ok. but nothing really much. after doing some quiz, we were basically free to roam around. -.o how dumb. yeah, cam-whoring started, as usual. =D some pics are in my phone which I haven't uploaded into my com yet, the rest are in sijie's camera. and oh yeah.
I SAW LIM SWEE KHENG AT URA!!! it's been like aeons since I last saw him. which was like last year teachers' day, back at jps? he's now in SA, and apparently when I saw him when JJ ppl reached, he was dismissed alread. rah. didn't really get the chance to have a good chat. =( he said that me and foyang are still the same as ever, very little change. =D and I could say the same thing about him. =D
on the whole, this week's been a rush. haven't gotten the chance to sleep in cos of homework coming in. and I stayed up to nearly 2am just to get my EOM done. =( but chatting to kahyeow and dai jiajun on msn kept me awake. or else when I was doing my EOM, I'd definitely doze off at the computer table. considering that I reached home at 9+ yesterday night, and had to settle my GP and maths before doing my EOM. =(
oh well. more details another time.. =D photos coming in soon.

olympic dream! =DD
olympic dream was great fun! =D mass dance in the night before we set off to toa payoh was super fun and insane, I partnered gerald and we basically went nuts. I think all the other pairs behind us might have thought we were nuts. HAHA.
when OD officially started at midnight, me shihui and jacinda decided to go for a run. BUT. it turned out to be walking instead. WAHAHAHA. =D however, it's really great to walk in the stadium if the company you're with is right. me, ivan goh, xinyi, natalie, zhenghan, shiyun, shihui and jacinda all walked together at a time. and I walked 10 rounds and ran 4 rounds during the midnight stint. walking with nat is just great. =) could finally catch up with one another and have a good, long chat. and chatting with them is really nice in a way. =) and I ran 4 rounds with laixing and yufeng. happily I was ahead of them for all 4 laps! but I stopped after awhile cos I was exhausted already. I don't think anyone really slept in the night. most of us were too busy clocking in the laps and having fun to sleep. =D
I walked like nearly 10 laps with zhenghan that night and we were chatting at the same time. he kept counting the number of times jeffrey jogged past us. HAHA. and I wanted to cycle but all the bikes were in use. =( I remember seeing 1 guy from 06S05 who was at the stadium, cycling quite alot of laps. and I was like 'wow. imba!' =D
it was 3+am when I finally got hold of a bike, and I cycled 2 laps. I was super wobbly on my bike and I was so scared that I would fall off. thanks to abbie who offered up his bike for me! but I turned down his offer cos his bike is higher than mine was, and I didn't think I could straddle a tall bike easily.
morning was the time when everyone was near the verge of falling asleep, cos very few of us actually slept that night. while waiting for the mass dance to start, I actually dozed off. while waiting to run that 1 round with mr koh, many ppl dozed off. =/ gerald even ended up lying on the grass and sleeping. literally everyone was half-asleep then. I walked another 6 rounds that day. ran the relay race and I was like super exhausted. mass dance sessions were hyped up. councillors kicked it off first, then OGLs, shadows and some 2nd-intakers joined in gradually. =D
left toa payoh at 12+ with shihui, jacinda and chayee. then chayee went back, me shihui and jac went to burger king at hdb hub to eat. and we all felt like dozing off over our lunch. on the mrt back home, ALL of us were dozing. and I would have missed my stop if shihui hadn't poked me awake at that time. =\
today was a dead day. my morning started off badly cos my water bottle leaked and the bottom of my bag was wet, and my foolscap pad was wet, including some of my notes in my file! my econs tutorial was damp also, and mrs tan was like 'whose tutorial is wet?' omg. so embarrassing. lucky the rest of my day was fine after that. chem pract was dead man's session. even mahmudah was on the verge of dozing off, and ganesan and qiyi actually slept. =\ at least my day was quite ok despite my leaky water bottle. stayed in school to study with sijie until 3, then she had to see a teacher, while I walked around school for awhile. when I was going up to the staff room to look for sijie, I ran straight into christofle, and I didn't even notice his presence until he called out to me and asked me why I wasn't in the band room. we chatted for awhile, and he told me he wanted to de-stress for awhile. shihui called me, then I met shihui and jac outside school, where they were cooing to a cat outside, then as they left, I decided to go get the band room keys from cassandra so that I could open the band room to go practise for awhile. but the aircon couldn't be switched on. turns out it's the remote control's problem, and not the power supply behind. if the aircon was screwed I think everyone would die of the heat. even lowering it to the lowest temperature wasn't enough. =\ and we have a new percussionist! =D stupid me can't remember his name, only know he's in 07s32. I had not seen him before in school, but he said he saw me before and that I was sitting in front of him during econs lecture this morning! =0 maybe I just wasn't observant enough. =/
oh well. enough of my rantings. =) didn't take any photos during olympic dream though. kind of a pity.

yay. =D
for once it's a good week for me. =D though it's exhausting in a way.
my dad allowed me to go for olympic dream! =D after much persuasion though. and today's maths test was slightly better than I expected. and I didn't go for pc today cos I didn't feel too good suddenly.
jiajun came back today. he was damn distinctive in the canteen cos of his hair colour. WAHAHA. chatted with him and tommy for awhile, then walked out of school with mike. talked about random stuff. =) then after that met natalie at the bus stop outside school. and we went to jp to walk around for abit. strange how we're all in the same school, but never actually stop to chat for a period of time. it's kind of sad sometimes. but oh well, life's like that. nat dropped her council badge, and we both panicked and thought it was lost. luckily I found it outside jp, but it was kind of flattened and the council label on the badge had dropped off also. but at least it can be glued back. and it still can be clipped on. thank goodness the damage to the badge wasn't big, and that it wasn't lost, or else she would be in trouble.
nat thought of going to jason's to visit after school on monday. I end at 1.30, she ends at 2.30. dunno if caroline, ivan and christofle want to go also. =\ and anyway even if I went I couldn't stay long cos there's band at 4.30. my plans to study with sarah and to watch hp5 are abit screwed for now cos of too much to do. =\

blah
well. finally blogging again after a week of not blogging. and i'm blogging from school actually. no thanks to my com at home. totally screwed. it keeps hanging and is SUPER lag. talk about irritating and the worst timing ever to die on me. considering that I have to do pw and all. shitness.
the past week has been really busy, with alot of work and revision to do. shall highlight the significant events that happened the past week..
wednesday: shermin told me that there was an american band coming to perform in the afternoon, asked me to come. she een came to band room and invited us band members to go.. so we went and had fun.. =) the songs rock! =D took some pics but can't upload them now. shall upload them when my com is back to normal.
there was 1 really funny incident that happened in econs lecture recently but I can't remember the exact they this happened. mr seah(ecosn lecturer) is sherlyn's(shermin's twin sister) econs tutor. and he said something like some people were not sitting with their own class, and he said sherlyn's name. BUT. he was looking in shermin's direction instead. WAHAHAHAHAHA. he obviously doesn't know that shermin has a twin. the whole lecture hall laughed for quite awhile as a result.
and today, he commented on that incident. and I think he still can't diffrentiate shermin and sherlyn. HAHAHA. but to us students, it's kind of easy. =D
this week I'm going to be bone tired. olympic dream this weekend! and alot of work to do. everyone in school seems to be in moody and exhausted mode. no thanks to PW.=(
on a lighter note..
harry potter and the order of the phoenix is going to be released on 12th july 2007! =D I can't wait to watch it! =D
and harry potter and the deathly hallows is coming out on the 21st july! =D I must must MUST get this book! really want to find out the ending of the story. harry potter and the half-blood prince kept me guessing the ending for ages.. =D
and to all jay chou fans, he's coming to singapore on 30th july 2007 for his latest movie premiere! =D too bad I can't go and see him cos it's common test period! =(
and at least common test ends before my birthday! =D

today was stay home all day and do my revision. =( damn boring. nothing much to do also. reading that same old stack of maths econs and chem notes isn't much fun. -.0
rah. I need motivation to study even harder!
term 2 results are crap enough already. doesn't help that I got S for maths and there are ppl in my class who can get A. =(

I can't believe I actually passed my physics. was fully expecting to get S for it cos I failed both of the tests so far. but I guess the escape trip written assignment pulled up my overall. =D
