Waiting is terrible. the suspense is seriously frustrating and really stress-inducing.
I pray that the courses that I applied for will be successful.
The wait is really nerve-wracking. =(
and it turns out that the courses that I applied for all actually don't need interview. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing somehow, because of the lack of response at the moment.
just keep my fingers crossed and keep the faith, hope that everything turns out ok.

My cousin works at the same place as me.
What an amazing coincidence. and what's more incredible is that I knew he worked at prudential, but I forgot at that moment in time, until I called him later at night to ask him something about work. (simply cos my dad told me he works at prudential then I was like 'oh yeah! how come I forgot?!')
This is an example of how incredibly blur yours truly can get. =D
and I swear the weather's out to give everyone heatstroke. seriously.
I went to find yeeliang at forum on sunday when he was at work(and to save him from nearly 10 hours of boredom hahaha!), we had a good time talking away, just like how we talked alot when we first met at starhub LOL. and we both ended up a shade darker than normal cos we were outside under the hot sun.
Talk about killer heat. it's hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement. =\

29th students' council investiture
Seeing the 28th council step down today, it makes the rush of memories come back again, even stronger than before.
and it reflects on how fast time passes, because from the time when I was in J1, it was seeing the 26th step down in 2007, then 2008 it was my batch, the 27th stepping down.
now it's the 28th stepping down.
how fast time flies.
somehow the day to step down came very early this year.
and I feel very old. =(
every step I take in the campus, I seem to see the echoes of the days spent in school as a student.

actually, it was a really last minute thing, going for council invest, because I was quite undecided about whether I ought to go.
in the end, I went with mayching and I didn't regret it.
I seem to see the ghost of my past when I stepped into JJ today. everywhere I go I seem to see it. the intense swotting for 'A's, the slacking with friends, orientation days, everything.
I really miss JJ. =( and all the times spent in there.

disappointment.
I'm no longer working at starhub.
mainly because of manpower problems, so I was the first one asked to leave.
disappointed.
now it feels funny not to work. =(
and I miss the temp colleagues there already! wenqi, finian, alvin.
but for all I know we might very well be in the same university.
hopefully we're all in the same uni or something.
keep my fingers crossed, and the faith that soon I'll be able to get another job.

working can have its really classic moments. and silly to the extent that it makes me want to laugh. but some stuff I heard are interesting though.
let's have a look at the interesting conversation of the day:
customer 1: eh you married?
me: *mentally thinking 'wth! do I look THAT old?!'* erm, I'm 19 only.
customer 1: nvm, I got married at 19!
me: o.O
good god.
like seriously. ohmygod was the first thing in my mind when she asked me that. but then again, it's not the first time people have asked me my age since I started working at starhub. but asking my marriage status is abit extreme. -.-
funnily enough some customers can immediately tell that I'm a part-timer.
and they ask whether I'm waiting for uni or poly. that kind of stuff.

settlers!
settlers was really fun! =D in terms of the games that is.
the food there was so-so only, not the most fantastic ever. I could safely say I've had better stuff than this.
we wanted to go cine/cathay to watch confessions of a shopaholic, but it was sold out! =( and the next timing available was 11plus, not worth it. furthermore can't get bus or mrt back. =\
the way they serve the food is like japanese style, honestly! it looks like a bento box lol.
the animal version of uno. damn idiotic and damn funny.
and I swear I'm a damn slow person. HAHAHAHA.
discussing how to go back home was hilarious. lol.
so in the end shaun, shermin and marilyn cabbed back, steffi and zhihong by bus, yongcheng and me by mrt.
time really flies, very soon the april batch of guys are going into army already.
I hope to get calls from universities for interviews/to be accepted really soon! people around me are getting called/accepted already. =\
