Percussion BBQ!!!!

actually i wanted 2 blog tml.. but since my hair is still wet, i might as well stay online and wait for it 2 dry out before my head hits that soft, comfortable pillow..
section bbq today!! was afraid that it would be cancelled/postponed because it was raining in the morning.. my solution? pray for it to stop... and somehow my prayers were answered, 'cause the sun came out as we were making that long, LONG walk 2 pit 37.
so i met jing ni, jocelyn and amanda at lakeside before taking met all the way 2 bedok. yes. 21 stops is no joke. but its better than taking a bus all the way 2 bedok. i could sleep. its a miracle we managed 2 get seats. =p went 4 lunch after getting off. then ran all the way 2 giant's to buy the foodstuffs. but decided 2 go ntuc instead cos no chicken wings. met amk percussionists at ntuc.. they even helped us carry some of the stuff.. =) when we reachedthe pit after that VERY long walk, we just slacked abit. feels different without padey there.. like there's something missing in that large group.. me and jn just walked along the beach, letting the water lap over our feet.. so cooling.. daowei, tommy and cindy tried 2 light the fire, while the rest of us gathered around closely. to prevent that strong sea breeze from putting out the fire. then after that we just started cooking and eating.. it was like cook the food and when it's done, just grab it from the pit and start eating. i just came close to a stomach explosion. no thanks 2 drinking too much soft drinks and eating too many hot dogs and chicken wings.
hongwen, jiemin and carin joined us later.. then we just played some cards and talk crap until jing ni left first. her brothers ran to our pit. and we were all wondering how come there were 2 boys who just popped out from nowhere.. not until i saw her youngest brother pushing her back, then i realised its her brother. hahax.
missing 4 ppl from today's bbq: liting, liwen, marcus and padey. abit sad.. =( but this is one of the best bbqs i've gone to so far in my life.. =)
