Hello, welcome. :) I'm Glennda, 19 going on 20 this year!
Came into the world on 5th August 1990.

I have a passion for long distance running, sports, reading, music, writing and many other things, and blue-myfavouritecolour is an avenue for me to share my muses, thought and whatever's been going on.

Eventually I want to run Adidas Sundown Full Marathon and Standard Chartered Full Marathon!

I love my family, friends and my cell group, W398+N385! :)

Through God, I can do anything, and nothing is impossible. For God loves us and will never forsake us.

Oh and I'm a big fan of Westlife and Jay Chou, and would love it if I can get the chance to meet Westlife in person one day! :D

saturday.

I should have updated yesterday. But I was too tired. oh well.. here goes about the 3 days of the adam khoo workshop and the o level results release.
about the adam khoo workshop.
thanks gary, danny and wayne for making our 3 days a fun, enriching and unforgettable one. you guys are the best speakers anyone would probably ever know! =)
1st day: early hours were the time of rock. music was blasting out.. chuan lay has good music in the computer. hoobastank, black eyed peas, jamelia, jay chou, westlife, you name it. he has it all. =D gary came first. he really reminisces alot about his younger days. and he told us alot of really funny stuff that he had us in stitches. danny came in the afternoon. omg. he's damn funny. he really knows how to make us crack up. but he also taught us alot.. =) wayne came at night. he's.. cute? good-looking? ok lah.. he's also quite a nice guy. talk alot to us about goal-setting and many more. end of 1st day. came home so late that there's no time to even do revision for chem test on monday! shit.
2nd day: first up in the morning was danny. he showed us pictures of his friends in the office and also of his trip in taiwan. some of the pics was just so damn funny that all of us were laughing so hard. and we all kept nagging at him to show us pictures of his gf.. but fact is..... he has no gf! wth. anyway we had a good time. =) gary came in the afternoon. yeah. many of us like him. he may not be those super good looking guys, but he's pleasant-looking and also, he's very nice. so here's the thing about not judging a book by its cover. during one of the few breaks in between, me, seha and dina went down to band room to see how the others were doing. and padey isn't there. went on course or something.. =p back from break. he showed us the 3 doors.. about treasuring your loved ones around you. duno who cried first.. was it sarah or priya? then gradually, I'm in tears too. and I see many gals with red and teary eyes. then we closed our eyes and listened to it all. even the guys cried. and someone sitting at the guys area was like sobbing so hard.. as there were some 4/3 gals at the guys side, I can't tell if it was a girl or guy who cried like that. night time was fun. wayne trained us in speed reading. and I realised I'm quite fast.. of course there were ppl who were much faster than me. =( and we did in big, seperate groups. leader for the gals was me. -.-" and wayne asked me: "is your surname chong?" -_-""" *rolls eyes* me: erm.. no! just because I have the same name as her doesn't mean I have the same surname. I know he's just kidding, so no harm done. =) anyway the gals' team is spongebob squarepantIES. hahahahax. the guys' group is my slaves. -.- so the gals lost first. by 10 s. so I led the forfeit. -.-" anyway we had the next laugh. the guys lost next.. actually it's more like someone( I shall not say who)cheated. so. 30s. 30 forfeits. cameras flashed. haha.
3rd day: closing day. also the day when 'o' level results are released. we thought the results would come out at 2.30 with the sec 4s. but turns out the results were posted on the notice board. as early as 9.30am! someone(baoyin?) said the results were out.. then danny let us run to see the results.. and I got A1! and my oral got distinction too. to think that the one who stammers occasionally during oral can also get a distinction. alot of sec 4 hmt ppl got the same as me.. then afternoon was the time where you can see the flood of smiles and tears. tears of joy and misery. wayne let us off at 2.45 to see them get their results. so far, here are those whose results I know, without deduction of cca and hmt points.
Aidil: 10
Terence Chew: 8
Nicole: 7 (!!!!!)
Wei Kang: 13
Alan: 13
Silvia: 13
Fabian: 16
yeah, it might be a short list but congrats to you guys! especially to nicole. I really must learn from you.. you can balance band and studies. I want 8 A1s. I must be like you! get to njc. and mrs teo was sooo excited when she announced that there were ppl( of course from 4/1 '05) who scored 9 A1s in the morning. all of us cheered like mad.
at night was the crying time again. yes, I nearly cried. but the tears didn't fall, like on the second day. then students went up to voice out their appreciation to their parents. hakim, soehendra, shafiq, cheryl choy, hashima, shunda, gineish, jj, priya.. the most unforgettable one is when justin, hendrick, cheewai, alvin and weijie went up on stage to do theirs. they walked forward, put their fists on their hearts and blew kisses to their parents.. omg. it's so touching!! then justin read out a poem for his mother. =) I should have gone up too. but I lacked confidence.
overall, this was one of the best workshops I had ever attended. and what I have learnt will never be forgotten, thanks to gary, wayne and danny. =)
