saturday..

argh.. combined rehearsal on friday. super tired. i reached home at 7.45 pm and faced the BEAUTIFUL music from my dad. -.-" at least the rehearsal went quite ok.. but since jing ni wasn't there, we had changed parts.. like i had to cover for jocelyn's part in wizard while she handled the snare part..
so about saturday practice:
ok. went alright.. just extremely tired. me and jingni having blocked noses. and padey is sick with quite a bad cough. poor him. coughing on and off during combined rehearsal on friday. but better being sick now than on the actual performance day. =/ and at least no lessons for me on monday and tuesday!! =D
monday: to esplanade with drama for sound check..
tuesday: actual performance..
at least i won't be missing much.. cos most teachers won't be there on tuesday cos of the performance.. well..
will end off here.. too tired.

friday.. combined rehearsal.

I'm so beat. After a whole day of combined rehearsal and rushing homework at night..
combined rehearsal was fun. full run through and both principals were there to watch.
after the whole thing was over, we played ivanhoe and wizard of oz for fun. we all rushed. haha.
suddenly something unexpected happened.
padey: jocelyn, we have a situation!(calling from the back of the stage)
me: jocelyn!(extremely noisy in the primary school hall)
jocelyn: er yes??
padey: the timpani stick is broken!(holds up the black timpani stick, broken in 2)
all percussionists: *laugh hysterically*
the whole band is in fits too. ok, amanda hit the timpani too hard with the stick, thus resulting in that broken stick. =p
we all went high with those 2 pieces. and we all laughed like siao. cos we got lost, messed up..
one of the best rehearsals.. =D that's it for today. end off here.

holidays!

yeah right. like it's a holiday. too much holiday homwork again. shit.
English: 2 other schools mid year papers. 1 compo. 1 journal. 1 newspaper cutting.
Chinese: just 1 personal reflection on a chapter in the textbook. =/
A Maths: 2 worksheets.
E Maths: 1 loci worksheet.
Geog: 3 essy questions.
Physics: 60+ MCQ. 20+ structured questions.
btw, happy birthday yan qing! =)
and i'm going to school everyday of the hols. whew. the only time I don't get holiday homework in secondary school is after o levels. =p
got back progress report. not that good.
English: B3
Chinese: B4
A Maths: E8!! =(
E Maths: B4
CH: B3
Geog: B4
Chemistry: B3
Physics: B3
damn. only underline for a maths. shit. and I could have gotten A1 for physics. and I'm 10th in 4/6. is that considered good news or bad news? my L1R5 is 20. I could have gotten 18. =( I must work hard. considering that my L1R5 was damn lousy last year and I was 21st in class.. there is improvement. but not up to my expectations. my expected L1R5: 13. I could have done better.
what's past is past. You can't turn back the time.
so about band today.. helman came back to help us! =D what can I say about syahir? he needs help DESPERATELY. I mean it. I just dunno what to say about his pulse, except that it sucks big time. work harder!
anyway, on wednesday, we got the o level schedule. crazy. 3 papers each on the last 2 days. can say jocelyn's lucky. her birthday's on the saturday after o levels. =)

damn. i'm so pissed with my physics. 24/35. I could have gotten 27/35.
I could have done better. =(
oh well.. never mind.. friday was sectionals. went through 2 (potential) choice pieces for MUSE competition. and I need to listen to more african miusic. =x
and I'm so beat. I haven't revised ss. shit. goal for sec 4: no underlines in report card.
who cares about ss anyway? it's more like a stoning period anyway.. so boring that everyone just shut their ears. she said: " look at the 4/1 ppl! they dun fall asleep!"
yeah right. they are NOT asleep, but are their minds there? not at all man, I can tell you.
like I will benefit having her. she sucks.
