28th students' council investiture
28th students' council investiture!
ok, it wasn't as grand as last year's invest, but still, I like the simplicity to an extent. except that the simplicity was bordering on bland. =\ the theme for this year is unique too, last year's was 'rise with faith'.

theme for this year's council invest in valeo, meaning valiant and strength in latin if i'm not wrong.

27th students' council before they stepped down.

aiksong's the 28th students' council president, he's leading the councillors in their pledge.

me grace and mayching. =)

with cherie this time! =) really treasure the friendship between us and all the stuff that we've talked about. =D and not to mention the good times we had as leaders+councillors

xinyi! =D fellow scdc shadows for 02'07. =D

dominic! bannister captain. =D I'm so not used to seeing him without his white-framed specs LOL xD

shiva! =DD one of my dear adorable css-jj juniors. she's also my indirect camper in 01'08 cos she was in OG17 while I was OG19 OGL, but still same family 4. =D

teekai and me, with grace being abit extra LOL

pretty celisse! =) another fellow css-jj junior. she's celeste's younger sister. =D

natalie! from tuition buddy to schoolmates. =D

some of the councillors released the balloons that were used for decor after investiture was over. in a sense, it's like releasing all the burden when you let the balloons fly away.

syafiq gave me this on tuesday when I was studying in school at the benches between lt2 and lt3. I just called hi to him, the next moment I got this. =D such a nice camper I have. =D

leaders photo. I look.. alright, I guess. =)
econs common test today. disastrous in the sense that I didn't manage to finish it. on the whole I guess it's alright. I felt as though my hand was going to fall off by the time I handed in the paper. and we were requested to help shift the chairs and tables backstage after the test(H2 econs people had the test in the hall), as we were shifting the things backstage, I overheard someone remarking about us being free labour. =\
stayed back to slack for awhile, saw owens people making pom-poms for tml's sports meet, so I hung around with cherie for awhile, talking and shredding those raffia string. it seriously is no easy task, but it takes your mind off things and is a good distraction-cum-stress reliever.
and now I'm incredibly tired as well, no thanks to sleeping past 12am everyday this week to rush through econs revision. seriously, I felt that my brain's overloaded with econs. now that econs common test is over, it's time to take a short break from econs and focus on other subjects for now.
and this afternoon after school, I went into cookie house to buy waffles to eat since I wasn't particularly hungry and didn't want a full meal. and miss wong(rouisanna), one of the j1 econs teacher and also a senior in jj saw me studying econs and asked me about it. she wished me all the best after chatting for a few minutes regarding econs. =) those few words might not be much, but it really made a difference to me. thanks miss wong! =D
well, this is one long, photo-laden and wordy post. ending off already! =)
