end of prelims!

I'm back after a prelims' long hiatus! =) and now I have to wipe off a lot of dust from my blog.

prelims were so so I guess, just hope that I can pass for every single subject. with a somewhat decent grade I guess.
miss lim spoke to the class after phys p1 in lt2 earlier, my name was called out along with some others and the general outline was to redo our prelim paper, and revise up organic chem. I guess it means I passed chem. though how good/bad the grade is is yet to be seen.

shihui, grace and i went off to vivo after celebrations and we had a good lunch at food republic. seriously, their food is good. =) and I love japanese food as well! =) reminds me of the times during the prelims period when shihui, cherie, mayching and i went to the japanese food street at jp and sat down at ichiban to eat, crap and discuss prelims. =S
I want to have japanese food again, REAL soon. =D
we were feeling very sleepy after lunch even as we walked around the outdoor area of vivo. it's really a good place to de-stress, but the breeze that blew only made us more sleepy. =\

Michael Fred Phelps (born June 30, 1985) is an American swimmer. He is a 14-time Olympic gold medalist (the most by any Olympian) and he currently holds seven world records in swimming.
Phelps holds the record for the most gold medals won at a single Olympics with the eight golds he won at the 2008 Olympic Games. With this record, he surpassed Mark Spitz, who was also a swimmer and had held the previous gold medal total with the seven that he won at the 1972 Olympic Games.
Overall, Phelps has won 16 Olympic medals: six gold and two bronze at Athens in 2004, and eight gold at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In winning these medals, he has twice equaled Soviet gymnast Alexander Dityatin's record of eight medals (of any type) at a single Olympics; Dityatin garnered eight at the 1980 Summer Olympics, while Phelps won eight medals at both the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2008 Summer Olympics. Out of his eight gold medals from Beijing, five were won in individual events, tying the record for individual gold medals at a single Games originally set by Eric Heiden in the 1980 Winter Olympics and equaled by Vitaly Scherbo at the 1992 Summer Games. Phelps ranks second in total career Olympic medals, after Soviet gymnast Larissa Latynina, who won a total of 18 medals (nine gold) spanning three Olympic Games.

Usain Bolt (born 21 August 1986) is a Jamaican sprinter. Bolt holds the Olympic and world records for the 100 metres at 9.69 seconds, the 200 metres at 19.30 seconds and, along with his teammates, the 4x100 metres relay at 37.10 seconds, all set at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Bolt became the first man to win all three events at a single Olympics since Carl Lewis in 1984, and the first man in history to set world records in all three at a single Olympics. His name and achievements in sprinting have earned him the media nickname "'Lightning' Bolt".
