Hello, welcome. :)
I'm Glennda, 19 going on 20 this year!
Came into the world on 5th August 1990.
I have a passion for long distance running, sports, reading, music, writing and many other things, and blue-myfavouritecolour is an avenue for me to share my muses, thought and whatever's been going on.
Eventually I want to run Adidas Sundown Full Marathon and Standard Chartered Full Marathon!
I love my family, friends and my cell group, W398+N385! :)
Through God, I can do anything, and nothing is impossible. For God loves us and will never forsake us.
Oh and I'm a big fan of Westlife and Jay Chou, and would love it if I can get the chance to meet Westlife in person one day! :D
Disappointed with the outcome. NUS acceptance, hurry up!
on the bright side, I just received SMS and letter for teaching interview. I'm glad for it, at least it's a ray of hope.
anyway, enough of uni woes.

food!
it was off to senki at killiney road on saturday with my mum and her colleagues. food wise and company wise, 2 thumbs up! =D
it was shopping after that, I got so tired. and I seriously wonder(for the umpteenth time) how my mum can walk around orchard for the entire afternoon in heels without feeling leg ache. I was wearing slippers and I was so tired by the end of it!
and it was coffee bean at night. more fats! =\
mudpie and double ice blended chocolate=YUM. =D
thanks to clement for telling me that double chocolate is nice! =D made me so curious about it that I decided to try it. and I love it too now! =D
even though I think I suffered from chocolate overdose again, for the 2nd time in my life. LOL.
the only black mark now at this point in time is the lack of response from the local unis. oh please, grant me the confirmation for FASS soon. or any other course in uni for that matter.

Us Against The World-Westlife
You and I, we’ve been at it so long I still got the strongest fire You and I, we still know how to talk Know how to walk that wire
Sometimes I feel like the world is against me The sound of your voice baby that’s what saves me When we’re together I feel so invincible
‘Cause it’s us against the world You and me against them all If you’re listening to these words Know that we are standing tall I don’t ever see the day that I won’t catch you when you fall ‘Cause it’s us against the world tonight
There’ll be days we’ll be on different sides But that doesn’t last too long We find ways to get it on track We know how to turn back on
Sometimes I feel I can’t keep it together Then you hold me close and you make it better When I’m with you I can feel so unbreakable
‘Cause it’s us against the world You and me against them all If you’re listening to these words Know that we are standing tall I don’t ever see the day that I won’t catch you when you fall ‘Cause it’s us against the world tonight
We’re not gonna break ‘cause we both still believe We know what we’ve got and we’ve got what we need alright We’re doing something right
‘Cause it’s us against the world You and me against them all If you’re listening to these words Know that we are standing tall I don’t ever see the day that I won’t catch you when you fall
Us against the world You and me against them all If you’re listening to these words Know that we are standing tall I don’t ever see the day that I won’t catch you when you fall ‘Cause it’s us against the world tonight

Malacca!
gosh, I realised I haven't updated for quite a little while. mainly because I'm lazy and I'm tired after work these few days. =)
just came back from Malacca last night and it was so enriching and fun. unfortunately the excitement that's usually felt before a trip was dampened by my worries about uni applications. =( can't stand the suspense, I really hope that very soon I'll know where I'm headed to.
anyway, enough of it. pictures galore!
DAY 1: the queue of people waiting to pass through customs was shockingly long. all because it's a long weekend. -.- on the coach, on the way to malacca.
the journey from the checkpoints to malacca was 3 hours, but it was much longer because of the terrible traffic jam. I think I slept for at least half the journey. hahaha.
our first stop. nyonya lunch! =) the food was pretty good.
I went with my dad's cell group. these were the people who went on the trip, not the whole cell group went.
next stop: bee farm! those dark coloured spots are LIVE bees. kind of disturbing actually. arrays of honey
yes, I know my fringe looks kind of weird here. =\ anyone not afraid of heights? this is worth a try. though I didn't go up cos there were too many people already. this guy's caricatures are really amazing. he could draw them for people in under 10-15 minutes. =O
our hotel hotel lobby hotel bar. and nice grand piano. =D
it was off to jonker walk at night. it's kind of like chinatown and the crowd squeezing was terrible. it doesn't help that the weather lately is blistering hot. =\ cute puppies! boxing match in progress. this bottle reminds me of breezer. it's actually sparkling apple juice. sushi. =)
this caricature is really hilarious. especially the ones depicting ronaldinho and arsene wenger LOL.
DAY 2: my dad got up at 4.30(!!!) and he thought it was already 5.30. he got me up at 6.20 and I was kind of irritable because it was still early and I wanted my sleep. and we ended up being the first to reach the hotel restaurant for breakfast. I swear my dad's damn kiasu. -.- but the breakfast was good! =D my dad can't wait to tuck into the hotel breakfast. LOL. cereal dispenser. quite unique actually! =) breakfast buffet! yum. =D wasted I didn't bring my swimsuit! the weather's best for swimming and getting sunburnt. =D
with my dad's sunglasses. hahaha.
we went to this nyonya museum. amazingly rich culture about the babas and nyonyas. only managed to sneak these 2 shots because they don't allow photography inside -.- the way the nyonya kueh was prepared in this place is actually kind of unhygienic, so needless to say my dad and I didn't buy anything at all for fear of stomach upset.
newton food centre, where we had lunch. and heard a fight going on outside the place. scary.
my dad with that huge lollipop HAHAHA. ice cream's the best in the blistering weather. =)
that's about all, the rest are on facebook. tired of uploading already.
