Note: This is just part of the actual amount of food. If I remember correctly most of the food on this table was done by my family. The egg tarts were made by my aunt. :)
Before the service started. Goodness, the crowd outside the church before and after the service was insane! Especially since more people would turn up for the second service at 12pm, while the first service I went to was at 10am.
Christmas service in the morning, a skit was included as well. And boy, 1 part of the play was incredibly funny and it caused a big ripple of laughter among all the church-goers when that occurred.
Ok, scenario is that 1 of the boys, hoe beng(teen rebels) was supposed to fill out an application form for counselling purposes.
Boy: Name.. Dragon Beng. Occupation.. Dinosaur. Address.. Jurassic Park.
Gosh, the laughter among the audience can easily be seen in the mind's eye indeed.
The power of the Word
The power of His Blood
Every thing was done so you would come
This was part of the lyrics for 1 of the songs during the service, I really like it and I feel that the power of God is really very strong too. :)
Anyway, the chilling out part with sabs and tabs after dinner was incredible! Whenever we get together to chat and gossip, we'll always end up laughing hysterically.
So, we were talking about something 1 of my friends told me about aging.
Glennda: So you know, my friend was telling me that man age like wine HAHAHA. I was like 'omg wth LOL!' when he told me that over msn
Sabrina: You should say that man age like wine while women age like milk!
Glennda: ?! Huh why so?!
Sabrina: 'Cause milk becomes sour after you leave it for too long, but wine tastes better if you leave it for a longer time!
My gosh, it really tickled all our funny bones and we were laughing so loudly in the room that later, when I stepped out of the room to get something, my mum asked me what was going on 'cause she could hear the laughter coming from the room even though the door was closed, and the clacking of mahjong tiles was pretty loud as well outside the room. It's always a mahjong session whenever it's christmas or new year celebrations'! :)
And really, that gossip session was nothing but hysterical fits of laughter as we reminisced our JC days and talked about everything under the sun. :) I really love these heart-to-heart sessions, makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :D
