It hurts to get rejection, but it hurts way worse when it's rejection from what you've always wanted. The feeling is really terrible, that nothing really seemed to interest me much these past few days. :(
But I'm still keeping the faith, and holding on to the remaining hopes I have. Because if one loses faith in God, there really isn't much hope left for oneself.
Anyway, I really pray that the last hope I have will turn out well for me.
And yes, I haven't updated in a long while, mainly because nothing really very special has really happened, and I'm still sad about how things have turned out for me lately.
Earlier this morning, I was feeling rather tired and sad after my piano lesson, not because I had a bad lesson(in fact it was pretty good today), but I think it was mainly me still being upset over how things have turned out for me lately. But as I was reaching my block, I met the entire class of K2 kids that I used to relief teach at. And they were all clamoring for my attention the moment they saw me! No kidding about that.
And here we go! :
'Teacher Glennda, I miss you so much!'
'Teacher Glennda, how come you haven't come in lately?'
'Teacher Glennda, hold my hand!'
'Teacher Glennda, have you forgotten me?' (Ohmygosh, how can I possibly forget kids who're so adorable, albeit the fact that they can be troublemakers sometimes?!)
'Teacher Glennda, give me hi-five!'
And I walked with them for a little while, oh brother, they have a lot to tell me! And I really missed them so much. As I was going off, some of them hugged me! And I love hugging the kids, they're very lovable and not to mention the fact that some of them are really very smart. (:
Just 1 moment of meeting the kids, holding their hands and hugging them totally made my day. :)
So it's going to be a photo upload about what's happened lately!
Part 1: Wei Ming's birthday on 6th May, at Suntec Astons.
Ok, this was the older people in W398+N385, because the secondary school students were having mid-years at that point in time. And the older people fellowship was enjoyable, we laughed so much and so loud it was a miracle we weren't kicked out of Astons! (What's more, the manager came up to us to request that we lower our volumes!)

Happy 17th Wei Ming!

OMG Peter and Wei Ming.

Potato Salad

What I ate. And I had no idea that the pasta came with the soup! Best part is that I finished it all.
Xiaowei commented that I have a very healthy appetite and I'm still have a decent enough figure. Something I beg to differ please. I do have a big appetite, and unfortunately the weight doesn't get off that easily!
Girls should be blessed with the ability to eat a lot but not gain much weight, seriously!
Part 2: Baby galore! My twin nephew and niece, Ryan Tan Rui Heng and Rachael Tan Xuan En!

I really love this shot my dad took, when I was at my aunt's place earlier. Very adorable Ryan!

And Rachael! Pity this shot's a bit blur.

My sweet little Ryan! :) He really has a very easygoing disposition, and is easily contented. You could leave him in the playpen for hours at a time and he wouldn't complain. When he's tired after awhile of playing in there, he'd just fall asleep there. Talk about being really easy to handle!
Whereas Rachael's more naughty now, and more active. She can cry and kick up a fuss when my aunt or the maid puts her in the cot/playpen! -__-

Yoga master Ryan.

The above 2 shots of the twins are not so recent. I can't really remember when this was snapped, as it was from my dad's phone and I think I didn't go with him at the time he went to my aunt's place. If my guess is right they were about 8-9 months old.
Time flies, they're going to be 1 year old really soon, on 21st May.
