Alright, before my blog starts to collect dust again, I'm back for a quick update!
The long distance running bug has gotten to me big time, and after Sundown, what comes next is the highly anticipated Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010!
So highly anticipated, that as I'm typing this, registration for full, half marathons and 10km men/women/wheelchair categories have all been closed! And it wasn't that long ago when registration for Standard Chart opened, if I remember correctly it was in mid-May.
REGISTRATION PRICESInaugural Period(20th May-4th June)
Full Marathon: $45.00
Half Marathon: $36.00
10KM Men/Women/Wheelchair: $31.00
Early Bird Period(5th June-2nd July)
Full Marathon: $75.00
Half Marathon: $58.00
10KM Men/Women/Wheelchair: $50.00
Normal Period(3rd July-30th September)
Full Marathon: $85.00
Half Marathon: $65.00
10KM Men/Women/Wheelchair: $55.00
Yes, the description for most Singaporeans is KIASU. It's only 9th JUNE and registration for the main categories have all been full up! Obviously most people would sign up during the Inaugural Period because of the lower prices.
OK, I'll admit that I signed up during the inaugural period too. x)

Before the run.

After the run! I was quite disappointed that there's no finishers tee for 10km, and only those who took part in marathon and ultra-marathon categories will get it. :(
