stress. =(
friday 220207
school today was slack. left at 1.30 to meet my mum for appointment. got irritated and impatient cos of the very long queue at the clinic. and I could easily fall asleep. cos I wanted to go back for scdc dance prac. and I made it back at 6 plus.. and today is the day I'm dancing the guys' part. hahahaha. mike saw me at practice. haha. =) dinner was pizza! thanks to the seniors and the teachers who provided the pizzas for us! =D
nat messaged me, said that there's a party at christofle's palce, asked me to join her.. so I just did.. for awhile. cos I'm totally pooped.
saturday 230207
games trial! reached school around 9.20, got the wrapping paper and name frame from shiyun and shihui, andstarted wrapping chinchye's present.. before I could finish wrapping, meeting starts. -.-!!
gams trial itself was fun! but very wet and I felt really cold cos of the wind. showered after that, lunch was chicken rice. finally I managed to get chinchye's present done up. then passed it to him, along with the card the 3 of us made for him.. =)
mass dance practice after that, partnered zhenghan. omg his dancing is.. hahaha. but with me dancing with him, it's not as bad cos at least I can teach him.. pump it, she bangs rock. =)
but after that all of us shadows kena punishment cos of attendance problems.. mr chua scolded us.. =( and wu han cried. poor you. hope you're feeling better! =) doing alot of pushups, sit-ups and jumping jacks didn't help especially cos I was already feeling very tired after the mass dance..
after that scdc meeting at LT2.. couldn't stay long cos of family dinner. now it's my turn to be on the verge of tears cos of the tremendous stress and the great pressure..
jasmine, don't worry too much! SCDC will always be behind you! =D
zhenyu, it doesn't matter if you're no longer our 3rd IC, we still respect you as our IC and a very important part of SCDC! =D
family dinner after that, felt damn tired.. when everyone came to my place later, chatted for awhile with my cousins in my room.. then my mum came in.. and somehow I dozed off. probably the stress and exhaustion caught up with me. =\

went to jason's house around 1, I was the first to reach. I thought that natalie would reach before me.. =\ then christofle and nicholas came, followed by nat. =D more hongbaos! alot of chatting today, had alot of fun.
I didn't know that nicholas is in JJ too, I never ever saw him around in school! christofle is a different issue, duh, haha. the rain came. couldn't go home cos no umbrella. so me thedric and christofle went to thedric's place to go hang out together.. =) great to catch up with nikos again after so long.. =D
just reached home, finished up 3rd draft, sent it to amira chinchye chunlai and tzelin. whew.
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY CHINCHYE! =D
now at least I can catch a slight breather. tml another round of deco to be done.
wuhan asked if I could play the piano during JJ night. can I do it? it's really a very short time to learn the pieces.. and I'm worried I won't be as good as zhongru. his style of playing is much better than mine. I'm worried I can't meet his standard, it's way higher than mine even though I have grade 7 in piano while he has grade 4. can I do it?

stress.
Damn. I'm screwed. Chem test today went badly, I couldn't remember how to do some of the questions. and I didn't do 1 question at all! OMG. And I was hoping to do well for the first chem test in JJC. at best, I might just scrape through. Damn. Apparently I didn't study enough.. Because I was too slack, during CNY period I didn't have that much time to sit down and stare at my books.
School today was.. abit dull. only went for GP tutorial and chem lecture(test). civics and chinese I ponned. I always end up stoning during these periods anyway.
When school ended at 1, me shiyun and shihui went to JP to buy a present for one of the J2 councillors. [shall not say his name cos if he comes by my blog and finds out.. we're dead. haha] went around for ages trying to decide something that was nice and within our budget.
It reminded me of the time when last june, me jocelyn and jingni came to JP as well to buy presents for the whole percussion section. Trying to find something suitable for padey and syahir=hell.
We walked around JP in circles, looking in every shop for something suitable. the only problem was that what we found suitable, was too expensive. dammit.
So me shiyun shihui faced that same problem.. the presents thing is more or less settled, now what's left is the card. hand-made! doing it in school tml. =)
reached back to school at around 3.15, rushed to band room to hear christofle playing the familiar sax solo in 7th night of july. I took over ying han at the mallets.. thank god I still remember my part! after about 2 years not seeing the score.
went through the piece again, this time I took over victor at snare drum. I suck. My roll still sounds horrible. no thanks to not enough practice at the snare and the fact that I major in mallets.
shadows meeting after that, discussed some stuff about our proposals, then polished up our mass dances and cheers. at least everything went quite smoothly today. so thanks for that. even though I'm dead exhausted.
michael, victor, ying han, PLEASE don't say I'm pro. I really don't think I'm that good, I'm only just abit above average, that's all. I'm still just an ordinary percussionist. period.
I feel really bad that I have to keep pangseh-ing the percussionists everytime because of shadows. I really enjoy it in shadows although it's tiring and stressful, but also I realised that in the midst of enjoying myself in shadows, I also may make the percussionists unhappy with me in the long run. so what if I'm a fairly good percussionist? if my band attendance sucks, it's also no point. I might as well not have joined JJ band in the first place. and especially to christofle, I know that you face alot of problems in band because of the low attendance rate and everything.. =( I'm really sorry you guys!
I'll do whatever I can to keep my attendance rate regular.. =)

CNY!
happy new year everyone!
the season to collect lots of hongbaos, eat alot, GROW FAT.
geez.
I felt so damn guilty for eating so much chocolate with my cousins at my place yesterday.. so much for any dieting plans that we have in mind.
Now I feel tired. haven't gone out today yet to bai nian, only later tonight..
After the long chinese new year break is over, busy, mad rush period comes.

blur toad.
I officially declare myself a blur toad.
the meeting on monday was meant for those who signed up for shadows and was accepted. and meant for those who got a message from chianlim or from other councillors. and me, I signed up as OGL and I went for a shadows meeting, even though none of the councillors called me.
but in the end I'm in shadows. so it's not too bad. it's fun, but tiring.
and on thurs the first meeting with the OGLs accepted. weilun asked me how come I was in shadows even though I signed up as OGL. -_-!!!!!! blame it on me being blur. =\ mass dance again! danced with jinguo this time. =) the ice-breakers that shadows and OGLs played was the same as on monday. haha.
on tues was the planning com dinner. great fun! got the love fiesta photo from christina, with messages from chinchye christina leonard and chendi! =DD
and it's nice talking to ppl like chinkhang. =) he's funny and VERY lame!! he's tall, makes me feel very short. again. -_-!!!! only when I stand on the small stage in the LN mess and he's beside me.. then I'm taller than him. lol. that's number 3 very tall guy I know in JJC. hahahahax.

15 minutes more to go! =D
but my family may not go around visiting many ppl tml, cos my poor brother just came down with chicken pox. worst timing ever. =(
reached school on friday at 6.55am, had to go to band room at 7am. but becuase I saw some of the SCDC ppl in the canteen, I went up to chat. and so I got to the band room at 7.05. =\
the last rehearsal was slack for percussion cos all the percussion instruments had already been moved up to the hall. so we ended up talking behind.. and I was the only J1 among them all. and the JJ shirt I borrowed from hajjar clashes with the cullots, dammit. the colour difference is like damn obvious!!!
finally was the show. but I think JJ band didn't do that great a job. it sounds quite messy. =\ last time I didn't usually play many wrong notes. but on the day itself. omg all the wrong notes kept coming in. time for more practice!
christofle you rock! your sax solo was damn great, despite the fact it was abit too soft.. =D
Love Fiesta Planning Com lunch yesterday was damn nice! the food was better than last time's.. =) had a great time doing the cheering earlier with shiyun they all. =D
singkiat came back! and I thought that last thurs was the last time I would see him in school. =D had a good time talking crap with him for awhile.. then went backt o commonwealth with tengchin. =)
we took 99 to the turning point at the junction at jurong east.. then walked all the way to the bus stop behind commonwealth old campus, to miss 176. damn. and 176 always takes a very long time to come. so we ended up talking about everything in school, about commonwealth, and yes, about death note. he was reading the comic. =)
finally the next 176 came, we continued crapping until when we were reaching, we saw kangsheng and yiqi walking together.. they saw us too, gestured to us to get down at the upcoming stop.. then walked together to commonwealth. alot of jjcians there! =)
the concert was ok lah..
after the whole thing ended, went to IMM to walk around, trying to find presents for the og.. and came up with nothing in the process. went to interchange to continue my hunt, met kerrick and jasmine along the way.
after walking around nearly the whole day, I went home, met shengyong and timothy at interchange.. taking 334 home as well. and once again, I got hooked online.. chatting with christofle for like hours, surfing around on the net.
yes, typical half day at jjc. =) but quite fun also in the process.
I want more 07s27 outings! call conferences, kbox, pooling, meeting up together to crap, meals together.. =)

07s27 outing
class outing yesterday! =) I came punctually, the rest came so late like 12+. =\
when me shiyun jiajun jiahan and euodia came, we went to jec macs to wait.. then chuan boon and celeste turned up. =)
went for lunch at pizza hut, me and chuan boon ate the curry zazzle baked rice. spicy!!! i managed to finish everything =) but chuan boon had to ask jj to help him finish up. wahahaha I have a bigger appetite than him!
actually it's cos I didn't eat my breakfast while he did. =D

went pooling after that! my pooling skills still quite sucky lah. only my 2nd time playing. played against jj jiahan celeste and chuanboon. and I kept losing! chuanboon pro lah. hehe. next time when I go play pool I'm going to wear a sweater! it was like ice cold inside. smart guys like jj jiahan and euodia wore sweaters. =)
rushed back to school with shiyun at around 4pm for the ogl interview. got really annoyed that I was in the last batch. no thanks to chendi lah.
and I seriously swear that he's absolutely idiotic.
#1. he said something about me being black faced. -_-!! actually it's cos I was tired and was impatient cos I wanted to go back to meet 07s27 to continue pooling. and I wasn't smiling like I usually do when it comes to leaders' stuff like this. not that I'm bored, I'm just tired!

I was already the last few waiting to be interviewed. then he looked at me, holding my application form. then he folded it and put it into his shirt pocket. wah my irritation was like incredible. cos very tired already.. some more that time already 5+. I think he's out to make me stressed and irritable. -_-!!!!!
haha I'm not as bad I got interviewed by ziliang and michelle. shiyun even worse, she was interviewed by chinchye and germaine. chinchye confirm will try and psycho into staying into jjc liao. and she's at the point where she can't decide if she should go to poly or remain in jjc.
after the interview, met shiyun shihui zhenyu yufeng they all. haha. yufeng seriously hates ppl to mess his hair up haha. =) which is something me and cherie tried to do to him. zhenyu was drawing anime-like pics of yufeng stacy and eileen.
yufeng's self-portrait. it's quite nice actually, there's some resemblance. =)
then went to jp after that, was waiting for a place when jinguo weilun menghan and hweeboon came. they asked me to join them for dinner since I was alone.. so we just sat together, talked crap, discussed about whether we would be staying in, our subject combinations, our o level results, blah blah blah. yay the guys would be staying in jj too!
I wish most of 07s27 would stay in JJC too. it seems like majority of 07s27 wouldn't be staying in jjc. ='(
somehow I got so attached to 07s27 even though it's only about 1 and a half months since we knew each other. and we've already had a few class outings and call conferences. it wasn't like this in secondary school.. there were no tears when I left commonwealth 4/6. but when it's leaving 07s27, I nearly cried.
may the 07s27 linger forever! =)
planning com dinner later at 5pm! but may be going earlier.. to enjoy abit.. =) and talk crap. hahaha.

I cried myself out until somehow I had no feelings left in me. It's so damn weird.
I hate the long talks, it's irritating. even though I'm glad that commonwealth got into band 2 for the express stream from band 3, and that the normal stream went from band 4 all the way to band 1.. but it's making the tension even worse!
finally after that.. the ultimate.
mr gerald: hmm. the good news is that you qualify outright for JC. so good for you.

so we girls ponned pc, went for gp and talked crap, ponned the remaining lessons for the day..
class outing was fun today! me, jiajun, zhenyu, shi yun, shi hui, jiahan, euodia, eileen, su ern, pei ting, and yiqian went to kbox and spent 6 hours plus singing non-stop, going crazy and had alot of fun.. took neoprints together! then went for dinner together minus jiahan, shi hui and eileen..

love fiesta!
staying overnight to do the deco was fun.. me and yufeng just somehow started chatting with one another about random stuff.. and he's damn nice guy to talk to lah.
love fiesta itself was really, really great fun!
the big love fiesta that zhongru drew and scdc painted. took a long time to sew up the cloths together, took us 6 hours plus to paint.
at the class stall we twisted alot of balloon dogs, hung up balloons on the sign..
me janus and jiajun with our balloon dogs. and somehow I fell 'asleep' in front of the cam. more likely it was cos I was too tired. only 3 plus hours of sleep yesterday!
07S27 class leaflet. =)
me, jiahan, yongcheng and chuan boon went to shiyun's house to take the vegetarian tomyam bee hoon that her mum prepared for our class stall.. and kanta called me then to say that he was at her place.. so we dashed out together.. then jiahan, yongcheng and chuanboon stayed at her place to wait for the next batch of beehoon to be ready while me and kanta left her place with the 2nd batch of beehoon since I had to be on duty at 9.30am.
mass dance at that time was great, and hema's voice belongs to the super powerful category.
her voice is damn great. =)
they even brought in pythons to show the school. chendi, bryan and simon leow gamely put the snakes around their neck, damn freaky.
when he saw my cam in his direction, he did this. wahaha. I would never, ever have a snake near me.

alternated between the song dedications booth and the class stall.. was fun.. didn't do mass dance in the morning cos I couldn't find a partner, dammit. but I did it in the afternoon with yufeng, he's quite good lah haha. he's so tall he makes me feel very short when I stand next to him. I think the only person in jjc who's taller than him is weilun. but he's fun to dance with though. he's a damn nice guy lah.
alot of css ppl came for love fiesta, sarah looks the same as ever.. no change at all.. happy 17th to her, her birthday was on the same day as love fiesta! =) eric was damn funny lah.. he and his friend saw me, begged me to buy 1 chicken wing..

me: 0_o ok lah.. since we were both from 4/6 last time..
wah biang. I so don't believe his flattering skills. wahaha. I even went to spraypaint my hair blue, zhenyu did the same too. jj did his green.. but my hair got messy after awhile, I somehow ended up combing the blue paint out of my hair. =\ it got my hands blue. ew.
some of the j2 councillors went around dressed in their cosplay costumes, and I swear my jaw dropped to the bottom of the ground when I saw zhongru. everyone said that he looks like a girl because of the fake hair attached, blah blah blah. I went on 1 of the uncle ringo rides, when the whole thing started spinning round and above the ground, I screamed with the others just for the thrill of it, not cos I was scared or anything. I closed my eyes part of the time, afraid that I'd puke once I got back on flat, solid ground. but it's kinda thrilling to see the school campus from an elevated view though.
simon leow, handsome ng and principal mr koh got dunked!!! it was damn funny lah, I filmed everything down and showed it around. alot of handphones and digital cams were being flashed at that time too haha.. =D
mass dance again at the end of it, yufeng partnered me. =) I already felt abit woozy from the rides thing, then all the turning around during the dances made it worse. I love mass dance, it's great fun but the ride made me feel abit uneasy. then she bangs involves HELL lot of turning around. for once I didn't mess up badly. anyway there were times when me and yufeng messed up. hehe.
so after the carnival was over, me, cherie, yufeng and esther helped to take the deco down, freaked out at the ladder which was held together by
cable-ties.ok, cable-ties are strong, but the ladder is old and damn creaky. everytime yufeng went up the ladder, we trembled. no only is the creaking sound freaky, he could fall off easily since the ladder is very old and seems to be falling apart.. which has happened once judging by the cable-ties..
yufeng: aiyah don't worry about me lah. I won't die one lor.
me to cherie: don't say that too soon. I don't share your confidence.

christina joined us in helping, she even fed us with abit of hotdogs.. how sweet. =)
went crazy after that, snapped pics with shiyun, yufeng, cherie and some of the other j2 leaders. =)
yufeng and me. we seriously look damn weird lah.
we all went for dinner together after that. yufeng damn gentleman lah, fanndly hurt her leg some time ago and he carried her all the way to the hawker centre.. he ended up carrying her piggyback cos his arms were nearly buckling.. he just draped his bag over me and straightaway carried her despite her protests.

boy.lmao I really couldn't help it, it was really funny lah! one of the lamest jokes i'd ever heard.
fanndly insisted on taking the bus home, something which we all said no to immediately. we made her get into a cab with kangsheng, chinchye and miss kim first.
then me yufeng and cherie took 157 to boonlay interchange. cherie left then, me and yufeng went to take mrt home, laughed about the stupid things that we did and didn't care about the fact that the train was delayed. he's a damn nice guy lah, somehow alot of the guys I know in JJC are much, MUCH better than commonwealth guys.

days leading up to love fiesta
this week is seriously crazy.. and it's going to be a very long entry.. and I'm only writng about the significant, funny and annoying things that happened in this past week. scdc meetings were everyday, and we were either painting hearts and banners or cutting out hearts from corrugated boards and cardboard, and alot of very long debriefs and dry runs for J1 leaders.
Tuesdayphysics period was cancelled at the last minute because chubby tan didn't come.. since it was a 1 and 1/2 hour period, and that we had a 1/2 hour break right after, it was a 2 hour break for us. it was freezing cold, people took to running around to get abit warm. I ran around the track, then jj and celeste joined me after that.. chuan boon, celeste, me, jj, jiahan and yongcheng then started playing basketball to pass the time.. and we saw zhenyu rollerblading and singkiat running along beside him..
wednesdayhad that chinese test today, thanks millions to jinguo who gave me hints and to joel for lending me his H1 chinese textbook. he saved me $5! =) and anyway the test was like so easy lah. =) went to band room to take my waterbottle which I forgot to take with me when I left the band room on monday for scdc stuff.. chatted with christofle, victor and joel for awhile before dashing off again.. then alternated between the ops room where banner-painting was in progress and the express canteen stall where s27 spent the remaining time left leading up to love fiesta doing up the ice lollies. then scdc had meeting again, and more painting. dinner was provided at the rooftop, it was nice.. =) me, chunlai, xinfang and si aun took alot of curry chicken and bread on 1 plate, and we couldn't finish it. =\ then we somehow just started singing, and gathered around the keyboard where zhongru was playing.. he's damn talented lah, both musically and artistically. =)
thursdaygot back that chinese test, I got 22/30. and miss goh reckons that my chinese is good. 0_o and I was only half-trying. somehow JC chinese teachers are very easily satisfied. really.
fridayj1 planning com members released at 11am today, absolutely great. s27 got into trouble for attempting to pon GP tutorial. and now I seriously think that niss chew's attitude is absolutely sucky. then went for econs, ended up whispering stupid stuff with singkiat, and laughing our heads off when zhenyu fell asleep during econs lecture and got caught by the lecturer. 10am came, planning com members decided to skip maths lecture. me, su ern, singkiat, janus and joy went around pasting the s27 stall leaflets to promote our stall. =)
kudos to singkiat for suggesting that we paste them in the dispenser of the vending machines! he's so smart lah, no one would have thought of such an idea! painting of all the banners became double intensive, zhong ru did the biggest banner i'd ever seen in my life, then we started painting it from 1pm to around 7+pm. 6 hours straight, even though I once again alternated from the class stall and the ops room.
I SAT ON BLUE PAINT!! dammit, now my black FBTs are blue, the bottom of my orientation tee is blue too, my legs are covered with red paint thanks to yu feng, and other colours on my legs as well. the banner is damn nice lah, it took most of scdc to paint it.. then dinner up at the rooftop again.. and I wasted the chicken rice, but strangely I just wasn't hungry even though the last meal I had was in the morning at 10+am.. zhenyu piggybacked fanndly all the way up to the rooftop for dinner despite her protests that she wanted to walk.. he just didn't bother to listen to her, he carried her all the way up.. and he was like damn exhausted by then. he's such a gentleman! =D then went to LT5 for video viewing of all the j2s in action in their prep for love fiesta.. and some of us got a flower and corrugated hearts with all our messages on it to give to the j2s. =)
ended up nearly falling asleep cos it was tiring enough. then the biggest love fiesta banner was hung around 1.30am. I lay down on the track and watched them put the cable-ties, nearly fell asleep bu tdidn't in the end.. played around with kangsheng's phone cos I left mine upstairs in the log room charging it. tried to get a pic of it but no point doing it, it was too dark. even night mode doesn't help.
and the worse of it. scdc on sentry duty from 4-5am. somehow alot of ppl slept right through. I asked xinfang to wake me up at 4 so I could do it with her, somehow I just slept throughout. =\
