april's fool.
whee. i hit my books for 5 hours plus today. plus breaks in between of course. i'm not super mugger!
I feel damn irritated and frustrated, that I can't seem to get my stuff right.. my maths is still very sucky, dammit. anyone?? any j2 who's kind enough.. please. =D
I'm in rono house! RAH. I wanted bikila!! nvm he's in the same house as me.. and he might run for 4x100 event.. maybe I'll run also.. or 100 metres race.. just for the fun of it.. haha.. see if I can make it.. and also to train up my 2.4 and improve my timing! =D
07s34 is fun so far, the guys are extremely crazy(horny's a better word to describe them haha) and everyone is nice.. and that guy pearl's been telling me about, qiyi is in my class.. =) he's damn shuai lor! but abit of the pretty boy kind of good looks.. =D
went out on friday after csl interview with mizy erneh peiting ziaotang and xinning to jp to eat and walk around after that.. csl results out on monday! it doesn't really matter to me if I don't get in, cos if I really get in, I don't think I have time for SYF rehearsa;s. and for once, SYF is top priority. I don't want to let jj band down, especially christofle and zaewe, our dear band leaders..
at least a gold please! I don't want to hear ppl talk about just getting a silver, I don't think silver is good enough at all.
liyana you rock! she was really funny earlier.. she suddenly told me that there was no school on monday, I thought it was true.. and it turns out that it was an april's fool day joke. HAHAHA..
damn I still haven't done my PI for PW.. got to do it tml. first draft due this week. shitness.
I realised how much I miss the shadows clan. we were together, working near non-stop during the crazy mad rush period--OGL camp and 02 itself.. we made both camps a great success.. and now shadows might be disbanded.. especially miss scdc shadows alot..

s27 outing at sentosa!
shadows had to come school in the morning to clean up. waste time only lor. me and shihui left around 11, went to my place to get clothes, then went dover to meet shiyun before going to harbourfront to meet the rest..
went to candy empire to buy some sweets and chocolates.. =D
the many different kinds of candy =D
dazzling array of chocolates. =) FATS. HAHAHA.
it was great fun at sentosa! got pulled into the sea by michelle erneh they all. ARGH and I was wearing white. dammit. I changed into my red team jj shirt, couldn't get wet anymore or I'm dead.

I went back to school with shiyun for shadows bbq, reached around 7 plus.. it brings back some kind of bittersweet memories when we chatted together cos she's not staying in jj.. I really do treasure the times we spent ponning lessons, pooling, kboxing, crapping, laming, having fun, discussing shadows related stuff and all..
thankfully when we reached, there was food left for us. haha.. and it was another round of mass dance omg! HAHAHA even after 02 shadows and OGLs are still super high! that's the way to go.. =)

Orientation 2!
02 has been a very long, tiring and super fun week for us! =D 5 days 4 nights camp, I nearly died during this period due to a
SEVERE lack of sleep.
060307release of JAE results! results released at 8am, I couldn't stand the suspense and I asked my mum to help me go online to check. finally when the list was put up, everyone just dashed to the notice board to check. and it's not names written there, it's your IC number. omfg lah. it makes finding your name even harder!

slacked abit after that with the SCDC gals before going to canteen to eat, heard some rumour fly around, confirmed untrue.
got busy after that with mass dance and all that, doing up the last minute touches for the deco in the canteen and in the hall for 02. got damn stressed and tired about it, finally late at night we got them all up at last. so at least we could let out a big breath. FOR NOW.
I remember I had cup noodles with shalehin zheyuan and darren late at night. can't remember if it was during ogl camp or this day. most likely it's during ogl camp. and we ate cup noodles using 2 spoons. HOHO.

damn crazy in the morning, we were up very early, then we shadows went downstairs to cheer and welcome in the campers. =)
the day itself was damn boring, sitting through so many subject talks and everything. OMG. I fell asleep during one of the talks. hoho. it's hard to sit down and just listen, you'd feel like falling asleep in an instant.
sarah called me, she wanted to know about the subject combinations for arts course in JJ cos she was posted back to IJ and wanted to appeal to JJ. but it's a pity she isn't appealing in to JJ cos JJ doesn't have the subject combi that she wants.
unfortunately I have to be frank, but I really think that JJ subject combis suck. it leaves you with very little options, that's all I can say.
mass dance after that! =) I meant to dance with zhengwei, one of the new OGLs that I just knew today and my OGL too. hoho. actually I'm not an official student in JJ during PAE.. that's why I'm in OG9. those who were in JJ as official students during first 3 months are all in OG16-31.
and after that we decided that we would go grab a camper instead.. and instead I grabbed another OGL, jin hao to dance. OMG. he's like super crazy lah, being absolutely insane during the dance.. even the other OGLs who were around us gave me that 'I pity you' kind of look. gg.
we noticed 1 guy and 1 girl campers at the back of the hall, not dancing at all.. tried to draw them out and asked them to dance.. the girl said she doesn't really like to mass dance, so couldn't do anything about it despite our efforts. the guy.. I'm sorry to say this, he just looks like the kind of person that everyone would ignore cos he looks abit toot. and which is probably the reason why he couldn't find a partner.
zhengwei brought me over to him and asked that I be his partner for now, cos jin hao 'abandoned' me to go settle some admin stuff. and zhengwei stood next to that guy and me, trying to draw him out of his shell. I think he saw my less than happy expression when he asked me to be that camper's partner, which was why he stood next to us.
thanks so much for that zhengwei, you're really a nice guy! =)
080307-Orientation 2 Camp Day 1was up by 5 plus, feeling sleepy. but by the time we were up to welcome the campers, everything was ok. we were at the gate, welcoming them in, then christofle saw me, hahahaha. he asked me to pass his torch to nat, cos he knew that I would see her around in school as i'm in shadows.
mass dance after that, it got us high. LOL. mass dance so rocks my world! =) I remember the time when I was a camper during 01, I got totally messed up during mass dance cos I had coordination problems.. but now it's totally different. everytime I dance with my partner and I tell him that I'm in SCDC shadows, he'll have that shocked expression on his face. HOHOHO. cos it's like I'm telling him where he's wrong, telling him the right way to move and all that. hurhur. x)
mass games time! but some of the scdc shadows and yufeng were up in the PD classrooms sleeping.. I was there too, practicing on the keyboard cos I'm the backup pianist for victoria for 02. and out of the many songs, I only managed to catch I'll Remember(Tonight) and Moments. to get it learnt by saturday is near impossible, all the wrong notes will come out. wanted to go for mass games but the piano thing is more important and requires more urgent attention. after that I lay down and fell asleep too. and woke up around 3.50 in time to change into bannister and get down to LT5 to start the deco for song-singing that night. it took us quite a long while but at least we got it done, it was nice. =)
when I came out of LT5 to go to OPS room, cheewai saw me cos his family spot is exactly outside LT5. and he's a 2nd intake student.
cheewai: eh glennda leave the door open leh! I want to get air-con!!
me: CANNOT. sorry cheewai we got surprise planned ahead for you guys! too bad.
seriously. for the sake of air-con, you want me to ruin the surprise? no way man.
behind the scenes, rehearsal for song-singing about half an hour before the actual event started. =)
song-singing was damn high, but at the emo parts, some of the OGLs were still crazy and high, which was abit extreme in my opinion.
after song singing, we had to do clearing up and all while the rest dashed off for night games.
was really pooped after that, couldn't help nearly dozing off during the debrief cos it seriously was a long day and I could see alot of ppl nodding off at this point. yay chinchye bought ice cream for us SCDCians! =D many thanks chinchye! =D
and we helped the gamers set up the telematch for the next day. shifting of tables is hard work. haha. and after that, only a few hours of sleep ahead of us before we have to be up and going, raraing the campers and all. and shit my voice was starting to lose it at that time. just when I really wanted to get very high and cheer along.. MC is sooo sweet to me! he saw my tired face and the minute I talked to him awhile before the debrief, he could tell that my voice was nearly gone. when I sat down beside him during the debrief, he was damn nice. =D
MC: eh I got something for you..
me: huh what's that?
MC opened his palm and it was a HALLS sweet! thanks so much! I exhausted my supply of strepsils earlier and he gave me the sweet to try solve the problem.. =D it's so sweet of him! and after the OGLs were dismissed he gave me a supportive pat on my back.. at least these simple, thoughtful gestures kept me abit more awake for shadows debrief.. =D
090307-Orientation 2 Camp Day 2the day of mad rush against time. HAHAHA. we had mass dance again in the morning, danced with zhengwei this time =) then when telematch was on scdc shadows went for their break cos we were tired and had alot to do in the afternoon. xinyi said that some shadows had to be onstage for shadows dance that night.. and I really wanted to go on. and no scdc guys left.. all taken up already. damn. the problem of having 7 guys and 13 girls in scdc shadows.
so my first target-darren quek. HAHAHA and he accepted it immediately when I asked him in the afternoon! =D
during the telematch, the food attached were short of ppl and needed some scdc ppl to help prepare lunch.. so me jasmine hema and kerrick went out to PE porch.. was chatting with kyson there while laying out the food and preparing the drinks.. and simon leow was in a hopping mad mood cos he was screaming at some of the OGLs, campers and the gamers. his voice was so loud that even from PE porch I could hear his voice. damn scary. the 2nd time I'd ever seen him blow his top.
SCDC shadows and attached got really busy in the afternoon decorating the hall for JJ nite. we did a great job, the hall was totally transformed and it looked really beautiful! =D

JJ Nite was great! F1's performance was cool, especially the girls' dance performance.. F2's performance I didn't see cos the shadows who were going onstage had to meet outside the hall. and darren asked me to go through the moves with him one more time.. I did it as best as I could cos of space constraint.. then me and darren caught sneak peeps of F3's performance. OMG SEXY BACK! the dance was damn good!
finally shadows dance! =D 5 colours in her hair so rocks! me and darren were at the back and I wasn't happy cos the lighting wire was in our way and we had to dodge them as we danced dammit. and the worse of it, the AVAC cocked up! OMG we could have cried.. but we just stood up as though we ended the performance..
we were like asking one another how come the music stopped. but nvm shadows still did a great job! =D
council dance was next, damn cool! FERGALICIOUS! their moves were sooo cool.. =D
after that was mass dance, danced with keeseng. HAHAHA his dancing not too bad also lah.. =)
shadows were called onstage after that, emo time. mr leow hugged everyone of us mr chua gave us pats on our backs.. =) christina, amira, chinchye, chendi, germaine, kangsheng, emma, bryan and sherman hugged me! =) and this was the first time I see guys like zhenyu and yufeng crying.. I teared too, couldn't help it.. ='(
100307-Orientation 2 CAmp Day 3song-singing! emo period again.. this time round I cried. really cried. shiyun yufeng pearlyn and 2 other shadows went onstage.. and they all were crying.. and cos shiyun can't stay on in jj, that was the part that hit me hardest. everyone knows her case.. and seeing her cry made me cry too.
quite a number of shadows not staying on in jj, abit sad.. like zhenghan, shiyun, chunlai, zhenyu, fanndly..
but on the good side, majority of them are staying.. =D went to do clean up, scdc got stuck with toilet cleaning again dammit. HAHAHAHA.

we celebrated zhenyu's birthday with a chocolate cake.. also in way, we celebrated kangsheng's kaiting's and germaine's birthdays.. and zhenyu got attacked big time. HAHAHAHA.
shadows went out for dinner at mac's. sat with chinkhang, xinyi, NOOBLET amanda and chengxun. and we did mass dance again. HAHAHA. had loads of fun in the process. =D
I like this song, it was sung during song-singing and it holds a great meaning to us.. dedicated to the councillors, teachers, OGLs and all who helped us make 02 a success! =D

stress.
Damn. I'm screwed. Chem test today went badly, I couldn't remember how to do some of the questions. and I didn't do 1 question at all! OMG. And I was hoping to do well for the first chem test in JJC. at best, I might just scrape through. Damn. Apparently I didn't study enough.. Because I was too slack, during CNY period I didn't have that much time to sit down and stare at my books.
School today was.. abit dull. only went for GP tutorial and chem lecture(test). civics and chinese I ponned. I always end up stoning during these periods anyway.
When school ended at 1, me shiyun and shihui went to JP to buy a present for one of the J2 councillors. [shall not say his name cos if he comes by my blog and finds out.. we're dead. haha] went around for ages trying to decide something that was nice and within our budget.
It reminded me of the time when last june, me jocelyn and jingni came to JP as well to buy presents for the whole percussion section. Trying to find something suitable for padey and syahir=hell.
We walked around JP in circles, looking in every shop for something suitable. the only problem was that what we found suitable, was too expensive. dammit.
So me shiyun shihui faced that same problem.. the presents thing is more or less settled, now what's left is the card. hand-made! doing it in school tml. =)
reached back to school at around 3.15, rushed to band room to hear christofle playing the familiar sax solo in 7th night of july. I took over ying han at the mallets.. thank god I still remember my part! after about 2 years not seeing the score.
went through the piece again, this time I took over victor at snare drum. I suck. My roll still sounds horrible. no thanks to not enough practice at the snare and the fact that I major in mallets.
shadows meeting after that, discussed some stuff about our proposals, then polished up our mass dances and cheers. at least everything went quite smoothly today. so thanks for that. even though I'm dead exhausted.
michael, victor, ying han, PLEASE don't say I'm pro. I really don't think I'm that good, I'm only just abit above average, that's all. I'm still just an ordinary percussionist. period.
I feel really bad that I have to keep pangseh-ing the percussionists everytime because of shadows. I really enjoy it in shadows although it's tiring and stressful, but also I realised that in the midst of enjoying myself in shadows, I also may make the percussionists unhappy with me in the long run. so what if I'm a fairly good percussionist? if my band attendance sucks, it's also no point. I might as well not have joined JJ band in the first place. and especially to christofle, I know that you face alot of problems in band because of the low attendance rate and everything.. =( I'm really sorry you guys!
I'll do whatever I can to keep my attendance rate regular.. =)

CNY!
happy new year everyone!
the season to collect lots of hongbaos, eat alot, GROW FAT.
geez.
I felt so damn guilty for eating so much chocolate with my cousins at my place yesterday.. so much for any dieting plans that we have in mind.
Now I feel tired. haven't gone out today yet to bai nian, only later tonight..
After the long chinese new year break is over, busy, mad rush period comes.
21st Feb: submission of 2nd draft for 02, chem test.
22nd Feb: 2nd OGL & Shadows meeting.
24th Feb: Games trial!
28th Feb: OGL camp dry run
2nd-3rd Mar: OGL camp!
6th Mar: 02 camp dry run with shadows & OGLs. release of JAE results!
7th Mar: Admin Day!
8th-10th Mar: Orientation 2 camp!
SEE. busy all the way. only time free is after all this, which is March holidays.
