band camp
yeah, back after 2 days 1 night band camp.
I seriously have no idea what's up with me, but my whole body was aching and I felt really sleepy despite sleeping at my usual time of 12am on most normal school days, and getting up at 6+am. maybe it's the previous day's banner painting, maybe it's the cold, rainy weather. when the weather gets cold and rainy, it means 1 thing for many people: SLEEP!
and it didn't help that it was freezing in the band room. no kidding. it was like sub-zero temperature(hahaha, it's just an exaggeration), I was lucky I thought of bringing a jacket. or I'd really freeze.
actually I was supposed to go back to PE porch to repaint our og banners, but as it turned out, gary called me when he was passing by the band room and he saw me, then he told me that there was no need to repaint our og banners again. =D
and many thanks to alexTOOT for giving me your chem notes! =) though I couldn't bring it home with me after band camp cos my bag was too full and there wasn't enough space in my bag for it. PLUS, it's really heavy as well. o.o
and as it was joaquina's birthday yesterday, and band camp was on friday, me and mariana went out of school around 9+pm to buy her birthday cake, and hiding it was a problem cos she was inside the band room, tidying up the library(it's like a paper warzone there). but in the end, we still hid the cake in the band room.
and we played night catching in the field, and elbow tag. it's worse than 2.4 run, no kidding. and before we started off night games, we actually saw a shooting star!! =D and yep, the common thing said: 'make a wish!'
I sort of believe in it too, and so I did just that. and anyway, it was really nice, since it's the first time I've ever seen a shooting star.
set up joaquina's birthday surprise, and it was successful. except for the fact that the candles got extinguished thanks to a breeze.
and I seriously think that there's a problem with my sleeping hours. usually when it's hols, it's common to wake up at 9-11am. and the weird thing is that no matter how late I sleep, whether it's 1am or 2am, my eyes just open at 7am, or even earlier.
because, I slept at 1+am, and I was knocked out pretty fast as well, because of running so much, my aching body and plain exhaustion. and I opened my eyes at
5am. with my mp3 earphones still on my ears since I was listening to music before I dozed off. and it took forever to go back to sleep since lights on was at 0830. O.o
and shengjie drove me, mariana and weizhi out to the market to collect breakfast and lunch. I have to admit, it was a different feeling when I got into his car, since I'm so used to an adult driving, it's quite a change when it's your senior who's driving. HAHA.
and I'm currently really addicted to this song, it's really a great song! =D

band camp 2! =)
maths test was a disaster. I'm prepared for retest already.
band camp was.. ok? haha at least we had fun and I got my parts right once and for all. but I'm not enough, it needs the whole band to get their parts right and be able to play well that's more important.
quite fun lah overall.
yesterday was idiotic. cheexuan made up a really disgusting concoction at dinner consisting of BBQ sauce, coleslaw, lychee juice, chilli sauce and other yucky stuff. and we played zong ji mi ma. the one who guesses the number on the dot drinks that yuck stuff.
some of the yuck stuff she made. and it stinks too.
mike got it. and he had to drink it up. ew.
poor christofle got it 3 times. and he had to drink it. me jiamin and mike wanted to help him but he refused. =\
cheexuan. =) we crapped and talked about lots of stuff during the night and we slept super late that night. say 4am? haha..
